I have banking here because this bank is close to my house. As soon as I am able to close my account I will! Alicia Byrum is the worse teller. She’s very humiliating person she doesn’t know what she’s doing most of the time. I try and avoid her as much as I could but she seems to like to torment/humiliate customers. She gets a little bit of a power trip. If you bank here, Avoid her!!

Love US Bank, 35 years as a client and had my first mortgage with them. Currently a large depositor. However, now do not favor the Ranch San Diego branch as the condescending and poorly trained Employee experience I just had - as it was completely unacceptable. I gave my son a $100 bill, and he subsequently lost it on our property. One month later my wife found it and it was accidentally ripped in half. On a preliminary visit I was advised by 2 Managers at US Bank RSD that they COULD replace it, unfortunately when I brought it in today the Teller "Chanel" immediately said she could not accept it. When I told her of the prior assurances of Management, and to get her Manager, she became empathetic about her denial; her Manager was equally unhelpful. As the Manager "Sara" was then "busy" and told me to wait 15 minutes when I approached her to discuss the issue I WENT ACROSS THE STREET TO MY NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION BRANCH AND THEY REPLACED IT IN 3 MINUTES WITH A NEW ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL-NO PROBLEM! Returning to the US Bank office to inform the Manager of her and her staff's lack of Customer Service skill, I asked for "Sara" and waited 10 minutes. She apparently again did not have the time to speak with me. If you love US Bank do yourself a favor and avoid this location!

The U.S. Bank branch located on Jamacha in El Cajon, CA is the worst bank that I have ever dealt with. If you try calling the branch directly, expect at least a 20 minute hold, and then you get to deal with a rude banker. Hopefully their other branches are better, if not, time to move on.

went to my local US bank which is located in Jamul, El Cajon CA. I was there to deposit an important check into my account. When I was trying to do that, the atm wasn't working, and it didn't give my money back or the check. When I went inside to speak with an us bank representative they told me "this happen a lot today, the atm wasn't given the people his money back" but, my question is why they dindn't put an announcement there first. They wait until it happen to the next customer. They were rude. I for sure going to change my bank after this.

What kind of bank refuses to cash a check that’s over $2500? Avoid at all cost, this place is a joke

Worse bank ever!!!! I bank here and it's a nightmare. I love the actual bank benefits but I hate going inside the bank in Rancho San Diego! No matter ho many tellers there are, they take forever!!! the tellers are always chit chatting with each other. no matter if there's 10 people on front of me or if there's zero people in front of me, they always make me wait forever to see a teller. it's ridiculous! I have never experienced this in any other bank.

If you are an impatient person like myself. I would not try to use the automated services online and expect great results. But if you’re willing to go in and visit Sara Shamon. She’ll absolutely kill it for you. Sarah and I had a schedule appointment via the online services. On my end it showed that we were supposed have a phone call. On her end that I was supposed to be there talking to her in person. It ended up getting me super flustered. And then we were having trouble connecting through the phone. I got extremely worked up and started heading to the location. On the way Sarah was finally able to get through to me. I told her I was mad because I had email and text confirmation we had a scheduled call. She said that she had on her appointment side I was supposed to be there. But then stopped and said “either way there is some type of miscommunication maybe it’s something with the online service. But regardless I’m not here to argue Who’s right or who’s wrong. All I wanna do is help you and what can I do, to do that?” Rarely have I had anyone handle me, that I accept and can’t throw a blow back. She handle the situation like a professional. I showed up still half flustered. Definitely realized I was making it awkward in the room. But Sara continually helped to ease that pressure more and more at every step. She is good at what she does and she makes things happen. So again if you’re an impatient person like myself. Be patient enough to go see Sara especially relating to business accounts. And she will walk you through step-by-step and make it an easy process. I rarely leave reviews. Only when they’re earned. So you have to be exceptional or horrible. Sara is exceptional. Go see her.

Atm is always down and the close earlier now. Just not convenient anymore at all. When I opened an account I made it aware I work 6-7days a week and long hours. They, as I imagine any bank, ensured reliability. But now having it for 4 years that doesn't seem like matc. For costumer service can't really say much cuz closing at 4 means I never am able to go in or just do banking in general.

I'm updating my recent review based on what I received from US BANK after rating them 1 start for declining my credit application. I've been banking with US BANK for over 10 years with excellent credit history, all the staff are amazing at this branch specially Mazin who helped and made it possible.

Long Wait. Horrible Service. Unimpressed. It takes US Bank 12 minutes to see if they have quarters in their branch.I called the Rancho San Diego Branch to see if they had quarters they could sell me. The representative, Gloria, who answered the phone said: "Yes, we have plenty." Then Gloria continued by asking if I was a member. I informed her, I wasn't a member. After learning I wasn't a member, Gloria responded, "Let me check if we have extra." and placed me on hold. 5 mins passed, then 10 minutes passed; I'm sure Gloria thought I was going to hang up. But I couldn't, I just had to know why an institution that deals with billions of dollars a year takes so much time to find out if they have quarters. Finally, after 12 minutes, Gloria returned stating they didn't have any quarters. I asked why it took 12 minutes to find out if they had quarters. Her response was “We are busy.”This is the 7th largest Bank in the US and they made me wait 12 minutes on hold for a obvious LIE.I'm fortunate, they AREN’T my bank.
