Called Sergio and explained the situation and he told me to bring it in and they would do whatever they could to get me back on the road that same day. Sure enough two hours after the tow truck dropped us off they had the car running with a new radiator!

“We were stuck near the Imperial Sand Dunes lookout and Camel Towing was a literally life saver!
Nowhere near any place we could walk to, and in the 100 degree heat with a car we couldn’t drive was awful and stressful. We called multiple towing companies nearby and none would or were able to help tow an electric car.
We called Camel Towing and they immediately were willing to help and said they’d be there in an hour and 15 minutes. They came quite literally in that time window and Mando was so friendly and great and put us at ease.
He took us back into town 40 minutes away to a charging station and told us a lot of interesting facts about the area and the sand dunes and made the process and enjoyable as it can be. Even made sure we could stop at a gas station to get water or snacks if we needed since we were stranded for the better part of a day.
So thankful for these guys! If you have any trouble in the Sand Dunes area they are for sure one of the best options!”

“An amazing shop and awesome staff!
Traveling across the country from San Diego and had to get new tires after a blowout. We needed to get back on the road and these guys got us in and out the door in 35 minutes. They mounted one of my existing tires as a spare and the price for 4new tires was around 150.00 less than another quote that I got that morning. My truck handled so much better after leaving and we got to Northeast Oklahoma with ease. The front desk staff at motel 6 down the street deserves a huge shout out for the recommendation.
If I'm ever in the area with a need for their services, I will definitely stop here again. I'll share this shop info with anyone I know who's traveling through the area. 10 star shop for sure!”

“While traveling to So. Cal, I came in with the low pressure tire light on and was concerned about the tire pressure. This was after having all the sensors replaced from another dealership. “After having our radiator blow out on us during our roadtrip from San Diego to Phoenix, and having our vehicle towed to El Centro, the closest city, we woke up the morning after a holiday needing service badly for our vehicle. I woke up around 7am and started calling all the mechanics in the city. After getting a quote for over $1500 from the local QuickLane to replace our radiator, I got a message from Ernesto's offering immediate help and a much better quote, the only mechanic to call us back that morning too. "Ernie" and his family welcomed us to their property 30 minutes later that morning and got to work. It wasn't some impressive, fancy, repair shop (it was a home based business) but you could tell they cared about making sure our car got fixed and sending us back safely on the road. They replaced our radiator that same morning, made sure we had water and A/C while we waited, and even took a ride in the car with us after servicing to ensure everything was working perfectly. They also took the time to text us a few hours later to make sure we got home safely. Would recommend. Kind, helpful family.”
“My 2007 Ford Super Duty 6.0 ruptured a hose just past the sand dunes off I-8. Had it towed to Ricks, and immediately the owner came out and found the problem. He was getting ready to close, but I already had a ride back to San Diego county. I told him to take his time and I would come back to pick it up. Went in this Saturday (Oct 29) and was told to take the truck and pay later.Wow! Never had that happen before.Great customer service, and very trusting.”
