The folks that run this place are very nice.
Oddly the pool was closed due to heat a 113°
I booked this motel only after making sure there was a bath tub in the picture, there was so I booked it. When I checked in the room was nice but VERY hot 90° and no tub. I went to the office and asked if they had a room with a tub, they gave me a new room immediately. The room has a odd smell but did have a tub so I stayed. When I went to use the tub I realized there was no stopper to take a bath! I was so disappointed.
I decided to watch TV but the TV only turned on and off, didn't turn up or down or change channels. I checked out early in the morning.
The bed was comfortable, room was clean but the floor not so clean (turned my feet black) the fridge was clean and worked well and WiFi was easy to login to.
I would try again if I didn't want a pool or tub

The Rooms are spacious, have refrigerators and microwaves and So CLEAN!! Staff and owners are very accommodating and super nice . Highly recommend for a over night or extended stay.

Stayed numerous times and each time was a good experience. Great centrally located property with numerous stores and restaurants nearby. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and ample water pressure in sink and shower. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful whenever assistance is needed.

I love staying at the Crown Motel every time I visit El Centro! It’s the perfect affordable place where I know I’m going to have a nice, quiet, and comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, with everything I need, a fridge, microwave, and a comfortable bed.
The location is super convenient too! There are so many places within walking distance like Burgers & Beer, Domino’s, McDonald’s, and Starbucks — it makes getting food or coffee so easy without having to drive anywhere.
One of the best things about this place is the management! They’re always so kind, hospitable, and genuinely welcoming! They’re quick to respond if you need anything, and always keep the place clean and secure!
For the price, you can’t beat the value and quality. This has been my go-to spot in El Centro and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable, and welcoming place to stay!
