This review is for staff at El Cerrito plaza ATT location. Mia is rude. I was there to get help to transfer data to new phone. She was keep saying is self explanatory. I insisted stayed there but each step that I had difficulty I got close to her to show step and she moved away acted like I am infectious . I insisted to stay until end and all steps were not self explanatory and needed her help. The girl before her that greeted and went lunch was also extremely rude. I don't know why ATT hire these rude representatives. I guess if you there to start new service or buy something they may act nice . Very disappointed. Xfinity reps are much nicer

I’ve never written a bad review in my life, but after such a negative experience I feel called to write. This was my third visit to the store in a week, and while one customer service rep was super kind, the treatment I received from another woman was incredibly rude, dismissive and condescending. Zero level of compassion or willingness to problem solve with me and just beyond rude. I will not be back.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. When I first visited the AT&T store for SIM activation, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They talked kindly and made everything sound easy, which I appreciated.
However, once the service was activated and I returned later with some issues, the behavior completely changed. The same level of interest and helpful attitude was missing. They didn’t explain things clearly, and I felt like they didn’t care once the sale was done. Because of their poor communication, I ended up losing some money due to charges I wasn’t aware of.
I’m disappointed by the lack of consistent support. It would be helpful if the staff could treat follow-up concerns with the same respect and attention they give during the first visit. Good customer service should continue after the activation—not just during the sale.

I had the most disappointing and disrespectful experience at this store with the store Manager named CJ! I purchased a screen protector less than a year ago and when I purchased that product, the ATT sales person didn’t enter the correct order in the computer! I have a trip coming up in 2 days, the guy could have easily overwrite and correct the order and replace my screen protector. But, he insisted that I order on line knowing it wouldn’t get shipped to me before my trip! He refused to do that even though I had spent $50 for the screen protector! He was rude, unhelpful and unprofessional and had zero customer service skills! I have been a customer of ATT for decades and I am extremely disappointed with the mistreatment! CJ had the audacity to threaten me if I raise my voice I will be escorted out by security were I was just stating the facts and was not raising my voice! I even told him that I am not raising my voice and he needs to be trained for how to deal with customers!!

Hello everyone. I was in the store today and somebody named CJ helped me. He was a professional one and apparently was the manager of the store. I just wanted to thank him for being very kind and patient and helpful.

Jalil has caused issues for us twice. He seems very uninterested in his job and comes across as lazy. Instead of resolving our problems, he created additional complications that we then had to call customer service to fix.

Alondra at ATT El Cerritos Plaza was so helpful in replacing a lost phone. And, again in getting the new phone to work properly. She's a real gem!

Javier is rude and gives misinformation. Not only Misquoted my trade in value for my phone but he refused to try again and also told me the price won't change, to do it elsewhere.
I left the store with changes done how i requested from the start because a manager walked in and made a rep help me. I received mean glares from Javier's end as I walked out the store. No sorries just hateful energy.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service a family member received at the AT&T store on July 30, 2024, between 11 am and 1 pm. My mother visited the store to ask questions about our new AT&T line, as we recently switched from Xfinity. Unfortunately, the representative she spoke to, a middle-aged African-American woman, was not helpful at all. Instead of answering her questions or explaining that she didn't know the answers, the representative laughed at my mother and made fun of her inquiries. This behavior was very unprofessional and disrespectful.
While I understand that everyone has bad days, customer service representatives need to treat customers with courtesy and respect, regardless of the situation. I hope that AT&T will take steps to ensure that their employees are properly trained in customer service and that they provide a positive experience for all customers.

Beware the bogus “warranty” policies. Products claim to have a lifetime or one year replacement warranty but actually you have to pay to replace them. This is not disclosed in the contract or in the warranty agreement printed on the product packaging. Be prepared to pay hidden fees.

I dealt with very professional, courteous, nice people at the AT&T store in El Cerrito Plaza on 7/16/24. From my tech-rep, Javier to Robert the store manager and the other nice AT&Ters there. My entire experience in switching everything over to AT&T including the switch over to an Ultra 24 was seemless and anxiety free and made pleasure by the nice AT&T folks. It's great to deal with a Corporation that knows how!
