Awful service. The sales person was very short and impatient. I actually caught him through his head back in anguish when I was walking over to ask him a question. I had only been there 7 minutes and had not been a pain at all. My feelings were actually hurt, it embarrassed me and made me feel that my business wasn’t welcomed there.

I went to get passport pictures for my kid three days ago. The picture framing was so bad (picture was off-centered) that the person handling our passport application rejected the pictures and we had to get new ones.
My fault for not verifying the pictures right on the spot, but I was in a rush and saw this once at home.
The person who took and crop the pictures should not be allowed to work on this particular task. Workers clearly care zero about doing a good job. I'm not even trying to go there and fix something as other reviews imply I'll just waste my time... $17 to the trash.

I am genuinely amazed at how a company that was once the most respected could somehow be so disappointing. Not only are the deliveries from FedEx so unreliable that I beg them not to deliver the packages and let me pick them up from a local store so I can trust I get the damn thing, but the delivery ppl are so lazy they don't even fill out the little slips that they leave on our apt complex door so we can't even tell who the missed package was for. I have never hated a delivery service more than FedEx in the bay

I had a very disappointing experience at the FedEx location in El Cerrito today 3/10/2025. I came in at 5:30. I brought in a large box using my own dolly to return it, and the employee behind the counter was immediately dismissive and rude. He told me the package was too heavy to accept, without even checking it properly. When I asked if he could help me get it back into my car, he refused and said he had other customers to deal with. And started assisting customers that came in after me.
Thankfully, another customer in the store kindly helped me lift it back into my car. As I was leaving, I spoke to a FedEx truck driver outside who said the package wasn’t too heavy at all and that he could have taken it. I also called FedEx customer service, and they confirmed the employee had no right to refuse the return based solely on weight.
I went back inside to explain this, but the same employee continued to argue, claiming it was a “safety concern” and warning me it would be “very expensive” to ship—again, with a poor and unprofessional attitude.
Customer service and basic decency were completely lacking during my visit. I hope FedEx will address this location’s approach to customer interactions and retrain staff on proper service standard.

Terrible customer service and treatment. The little Latino dude working today on 2/26/25 was extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL (He wasn’t wearing his name tag, so I wasn’t able to get his name). After using the self-serve kiosk to print out labels for my two packages I brought to drop off, I decided to wait in line and personally hand them to the sassy Latino worker because one of my packages did not fit in the slot of the drop-off box. When he saw me in line waiting, he seemed bothered and then rudely asked, “What are you doing in line? Can’t you see I’m very busy helping someone else out?” I responded that my package did not fit in the slot. He then replied unprofessionally and suggested to leave both packages “just anywhere” near the entrance where there were MANY customers coming in and out. Instead, I walked behind the registers and left them where I felt was a safer location. After this, he completely lost his cool and started berating me in front of the rest of the customers. I walked out in a rush, but I couldn’t help but to feel hurt and unappreciated as a customer. Mind you, I was not the one who initiated this interaction as it all started because I was simply waiting in line to be served like the rest of the customers.

Horrible parking and won't lend you a key to the restroom even if you're a paying customer. Most inconvenient FedEx location and there aren't many others closeby

I was making a return shipment in March of 2023 and one of the employees stole the package. It's the responsibility of the company to protect the customers but that doesn't seem to be the case at this location. As a customer we shouldn't have to worry about our packages being stolen. Very disappointed. Make sure to take a receipt for each transaction.

Walked in right as they opened at 8am to send an urgent package internationally. I was greeted by Aaron with nothing but a calm and professional demeanor. He handled my transaction with ease and answered all my questions. I felt my package will be in good hands. Thank you, Aaron!

Horrible experience picking up items I mailed to myself if I could give negative stars I would. The rules that he is trying to enforce don’t seem to apply at other stores… I’m wondering why they allow someone that has limited training and knowledge be management at this store.

I go to this fedex all the time for work and the guys in there are super helpful. They have to deal with a lot of people's confusion and questions, including mine and I just really appreciate all of them for being so helpful and patient.

How can FedEx still there in 2024, for 12 years in America the worst shipping service. I moved couple times around California south to north, but FedEx stays suck very consistently either miss delivery my package to a wrong address or “ attempted delivery lie” so far I never seen a door tag and never hear from the case that they missed delivery. The only good experience I had with them will back in Long Beach, CA. There’s one old FedEx deliver working really hard and respectful but his retired as well. I believe there’s people who trust and respect FedEx in this country but as of today, you need to do better FedEx
