Despite all bad reviews here I had a great experience at this branch. Nicholas was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and took great care to address my banking needs.

Worst Bank of America ever. I don't know who made the decision to remove one of the two outdoor ATMs, but it is really a pain when the only one you have now is broken.

Teller was nice enough, but their financial services suit was rude to multiple customers before he had the same tone, curt responses and lack of interest in helping me. I wish their staff put as much effort into their customer service as they do their hair and outfits. Will just d I've farther to reach the next branch, El dorado hills BofA is a masterclass on poor service.

I don't know how it is with other branches, but this branch never answers their phone. It's impossible to get a hold of anyone there to answer any questions over the telephone. You need to make an appointment or walk in, but forget about trying to reach someone by phone.

We have been with BofA for close to 50 years... I had to deal with the Merrill Lynch (EDGE) side and will Never Never Never work with them again... You can not get a hold of anyone by phone, took just about an hour on 3 seperate occastions to get a hold of someone, just to get into an account that they had that was locked and wanted to send me a text to a house phone. they said they fixed it but i would beed to log out and clear my cash on the computer, i did it and no it was not fixed. called again, (1 more hour wait ) finally got in.. looked good till i tried to do something it would not let me ... had to call again it would not let me set up a call from them...same wait time, got it finally fixed... after all that i decided to move it to another investment company i deal with ... Merrill charged me 50 bucks to close the account that i could not do anything with... never will i deal with that side again and now i think my saving accounts will be transfered too.. i'm so done with them... I would not reccomend Merrill for anything... at least i can call my Fidelity and someone answers and if they are busy they will call me back the same day .. not wait time.. interesting how that works ... Merrill is a waste of time ...

Very poor customer serviceI try to avoid coming into this branch because of the poor customer service.- Long lines (only 1 teller is operating, maximum of 2)- Poor training and knowledge. I asked the teller two questions and she was unhelpful and gave me the wrong information

I made a appointment to go in and speak with a banker.A hr before we left, the banker called me. She was wonderful! I left a detailed message as to "What I needed help with "She called, had done research and was able to fix the issue & help me out...so I didn't have to go in. I wish I could remember her name. She was 10+

For two days in a row I showed up at this branch and there were no tellers on duty. Today the manager sent me to the Cameron Park location, assuring me they would have tellers on duty. That location is ATM only, with video chat capabilities, but they are not operational yet. Terrible customer service!

Customer service is being sacrificed as the branch is moving more toward being solely a sales office. I was informed that since all tellers called in sick, they can't do any cash transactions today. I had a simple transaction, however the manager told me "as a manager, I can't handle cash". I called the 800 number and the customer service rep told me there is no policy that prevents a manager from handling cash - the rep even went so far as to tell me he personally has done cash transactions with his local B of A manager. Aside from this discrepancy, they failed to manage their staff so that there is a teller on hand - not a daunting task in my opinion as we are almost 3 years into COVID disruptions. However, not surprisingly, if you would like one of their loan products then there is enough staff for that. In other words, they seem to have trouble staffing for customer service but not for selling products. They also reduced their hours to 4 PM closing.

When they are short-handed (always, in my experience) this bank tries to convince customers to go to other branches for customer service needs. You can't make this stuff up!

Bank of America is awful. I tried to schedule an appointment on line at this location (Park Dr in El Dorado Hills) and the system said they were no longer accepting appointments at this location. So I went to the location to speak with a banker and I am told all of their appointments are booked for the day but they could schedule an appointment for me. Now I have wasted my time and a trip to see a banker because their computer system foul up. I have had it with them and am changing my plans. I am moving to a new bank with no fees, better customer service, and actual concern for their clients.

To be clear, this is not a review of this branch but of BofA itself. It amazes me how clueless BofA is about their customer service. Automation isn't everything. You need to plan for when multiple tellers call in sick. Cross training is not a new concept. This poor overworked teller went on a much deserved break and 3 other "managers" were sitting there discussing other important things amongst themselves while 5 of us were waiting in line. One of them said, they don't have access to the teller's system. Whew! Where do I begin!

Compliments to Edwardt L., banker who assisted me and completed two transactions effortlessly. His professionalism and kindness were both appreciated and admired. There definitely seems to be a shortage of employees in the banking industry. I am glad Bank of America has employees like Edwardt L. Who go the extra mile.
