After finding our dream home on a random day driving in the country we called Martin to help us seal the deal. Martin worked hard and did an excellent job at helping us negotiate to secure our dream and also helped us sell our current home in a timely and seamless manner. He was always available to talk us through our many questions. We are forever grateful to him for helping us make our country dreams a reality. Thank you!

My wife and I just bought our first home. We meet Matt at an open house at the beginning of our home buying journey. Immediately we felt comfortable with him and the process he laid out for us. The entire process he guided us though the many steps and didn't overload us with information we didn't need at the time. As first time buyers we had a lot of questions and he was available to answer our questions in a timely manner and kept us informed. Once we made an offer on a house he kept us in the loop the entire time and gave us sound advice on this major purchase. He was very patient with us and we were able to close much faster than we anticipated which was wonderful news for us. As first time buyers we were overwhelmed at the beginning of the process but Matt made it seamless and very manageable. We would definitely recommend Matt with BFR to anybody looking for a smooth process and no extra unnecessary worries. We will recommend him to any friends or family looking to purchase or sell a home.

We went into the home buying process very excited but very unprepared (but very willing and eager to learn). We visited a couple of places (including our credit union) to gather information, and through a sheer stroke of luck, got a referral to Martin at Bear Flag Realty. I am so grateful for that referral!First and foremost, we wanted to go into this process with our eyes open and fully understanding our financial obligation. We were in no hurry and wanted someone who was going to give us time and space to research, learn, and question. From the first day we met Martin, it never once felt like a sales pitch. No pressure. No sales. No trying-to-convince-us that he's the best. He felt like a *friend*. It felt right choosing Martin as our realtor for this really life-changing milestone.I think the best part for us was just how low-stress this process was, and I really credit that to Martin and his team. In comparison, I remember buying our first car a dozen or so years ago, and how awful it was having to iron out financing and trying to understand complicated explanations for things. I dreaded that the experience in buying a home would be similar, and yet it was *not* stressful and shockingly not-complicated; entirely transparent. We knew what to expect every step of the way. If we needed a reassuring call, we got it without even asking because Martin knew when we had doubts or concerns. At no point did we feel pressed to commit to anything, and we truly felt like Martin has our absolute best interests at heart every step of the way.We bought our home in August of 2023, and this market is *ridiculous*. Truly. But despite the housing shortage, high interest rates, and really stupid amounts of competition for houses, we found the perfect home, in an area we were hoping for, and (best of all) within our fairly limited budget. Honestly, that's all we wanted. But we got the bonus of finding this excellent group of folks who we look forward to working with again when we need to refinance and, ultimately, when we decide to upgrade to a new home.Thank you, Martin and the Bear Flag Realty team. We are forever grateful!

Working with Martin was an incredible blessing! Our home sale had unexpected challenges due to a fridge leak that was found 2 days after getting into escrow. Who would've thought!!!! While this obstacle could have been a complete nightmare, Martin helped us navigate not only the details of the repair process, but the emotional roller-coaster that also followed. Martin sold our home in Rocklin and did an amazing job. He and his team takes those extra steps from sending a pre-listing care package, amazing pictures and his communication during the whole process was so helpful. We sold our house a few days after it was listed for $60,000 over the asking price thanks to his insightful recommendations. We were buying another house at the same time and wished Martin would have been our buying agent as well. We highly recommend Bear Flag Realty!

I just want to say that both Macey and Martin, did a great job fining us our new home. Macey, was very patient and very personable with us. She had open availability for us whenever we wanted to go house hunting. She really was easy to talk to and understood what we wanted in our new home. My experience was pretty good at Bear Flag Realty. Martin really knows his stuff when finding good real estate deals for his clients. He was extremely patient and I never felt like I was being rushed. He handled all of the necessary paper work and had solid communication with the seller at all times which made the process easy and eventually making my loan close on time. Looking for a new house, especially when being a first time home buyer and living across the country, can be a daunting task. After speaking with Martin, I was very comfortable with putting my best interests in the hands of Martin and his team. Even through COVID restrictions, we were able to walk through all the properties on our list in one weekend and found the right house for us. He helped guide us through the offer process and after the offer was accepted, he stayed on top of the loan and escrow officers to ensure the closing went smoothly. I can't think of anyone better to help find a house to call home. Thank you Martin!
