We have had a great experience with Bergamo, and our son has loved attending school there. He started in one of the Toddler classrooms when he was about 20 months old, and was there until he transitioned to a Primary class for his last few months attending the school. All of the teachers and staff members that we've interacted with in both classes have been wonderful; they're so caring and create a welcoming environment, and we've been amazed by how much he's learned and developed skills during his time at Bergamo. He's also very excited to go to school each morning, and has so much fun during the day while he's there. The school itself is incredibly well-run; the communication is excellent and we always feel informed about how he is doing during the day and what he is learning and working on. I couldn't recommend Bergamo highly enough, and we're so glad our son has been able to go there.

We have been so grateful for Bergamo Montessori. Our daughter started at the height of the COVID pandemic, while it was a very challenging time, we were so impressed with the staff's professionalism and how they handled the children and families during that time. Our daughter has thrived during her time there. It has been so fun to watch her learning really take off under the guidance of the teaching staff. She has made such sweet friends too, so many wonderful families to interact with. Now that she is aging out, we will be sad to say farewell but know that she's gotten the best start on her education and early development.

Our son spent 3 1/2 fun-filled years at Bergamo. We have not spent a moment of that time being concerned with safety, compassion, respect to individuality and consistency. The leadership and guides at Bergamo are extensively trained and provide an individualized education for each child.

Early childhood success begins at Bergamo! As many of us know or have considered, choosing a school that is right for you and your child(ren) is important. My family evaluated five (5) early childhood programs in 2016 and none compared with Bergamo Montessori at Serrano. Their outstanding reputation, authentic Montessori program, carefully curated succession plan and AMI certified guides made (and continues to make) a big difference. Weve been with Bergamo for over six (6) years and would have stayed for six more if given the opportunity. I say 'we' because at Bergamo, although their main focus is the children, they also support parents navigate and adapt to changes in-step with their child(ren). I strongly believe we are that much more prepared because of Bergamo and we encourage families to learn more about their program. Highly recommended and regarded for early childhood success!

We started our daughter at Bergamo Montessori at Serrano when she was five months old. As any new mother, I was nervous about this transition, but the staff at Bergamo were welcoming and quickly became like family. Our daughter thrived at this school, we never had to fight her about going to school, and she would ask on the weekends if she was going to school today. One of the things that still strikes me is how amazingly clean the facility is kept. We toured other facilities, and the quality of the learning material and cleanliness did not compare to Bergamo. Our daughter was in school during the COVID-19 pandemic (minus the few months everything was closed). We felt comfortable sending her to school because their protocols were reasonable and evidence-based. My husband changed jobs, and her school was not on our daily commute but because of the warmth of the staff and the education my daughter was receiving, we kept her at Bergamo even though it was 25 minutes in the opposite direction of our house. When it was time for my daughter to leave Bergamo, we struggled with this decision because we loved the school so much. At 4.5 years old, we transition our daughter into public Transitional Kindergarten at Elk Grove School District. The transition has been great because of our time at Bergamo, our daughter has confidence, and she walked into her TK class and didn't look back at my husband or me. She loves her new school but asks almost every day if she can return to her old school because she misses her teachers and friends. Our overall experience was very positive, and I would choose them again in the future.

We absolutely love Bergamo and have been fortunate to have experienced their infant through primary classrooms. Our youngest started infant at 8 months and now is in primary with all his best buds. Our oldest just finished kindergarten and we are so sad to have to move on to a new place for him. The staff and teachers are like family and treat our kids as their own. Both of our boys who are now 3.5 and 5.5 have thrived in the Montessori environment and have communication skills well beyond their peers. Through the pandemic the policies were clearly outlined and we felt safe sending our kids to school. The security of the building is a wonderful peace of mind as well. We could recommend a better place to send your child where you can confidently drop them off knowing they will be safe and have a wonderful time learning about what they are interested in, and taking home skills that will help them with both their education and day to day life.

We have loved Bergamo! Our daughter has been at the Serrano campus since she was two years old and has grown in so many ways over the past three years. It is such a wonderful and welcoming community. All the teachers and staff know our daughter and us and it feels like dropping her off with extended family in the mornings. The mixed age class has been such a great way for our child to learn when she was younger and, now, develop into a leader and teacher. Her teachers have been amazing at developing a relationship with her and honing in on how she likes to learn so all the learning feels fun for her. We are so thankful for the past four years and sad to move on!

We have been sending our two kids to Bergamo for 4 years now. All the teachers are so kind, attentive, and welcoming. The classrooms are very neat/organized and clean. Both my children are excited to go each day and learn new lessons and play outside. They have learned so many lessons to make them confident and independent kids, as well as respectful to both themselves and others. My older daughter loves practicing writing letters, sounding out words, and doing math. I would recommend this school to others.

I would give Bergamo at Serrano 10 stars if I could! It has been a fantastic experience for my daughters, 2 and 4. They are in the Primary and Toddler rooms and have learned so much just in the year they have attended! I am constantly in awe at their growth, independence, learning of life skills and respect for others, themselves and the environment. They immediately felt right at ease here and are excited to attend each day. This school teaches all the right things at this age! My 4 year old is on the verge of reading already and my 2 year old's language skills are exceptional with her communication skills and ability to make connections. The guides, assistants and entire staff are all phenomenal and so caring and attentive to my little girls. The school really feels like a family and I am so grateful they attend here. I wish the programs extended to elementary and middle school as it will be a sad day when they have to leave this caring nest! Bergamo is Worth. Every. Penny!

ALL THE STARS! Honestly, I don't write reviews unless I mean it. Our daughter has spent the past three years at Bergamo in Serrano and has grown and flourished. Even through the pandemic and all the chaos that followed, the school has been open, communicative, and compassionate. The teachers and staff are caring and give all their love an attention to the students. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my daughter.
