“The Fat Kitty City Humane Society is by far the best organization I have worked with for the rescue of kitties in need. The team has been incredibly responsive and provided much needed guidance and support. While I know they cannot take every kitty in need, they do a stellar job of providing guidance and recommendations for options. My family was in a dire situation and when they could not assist during that time, they stayed in contact and followed up with us. At one point they were able to take two of the kitties and helped find their forever home. I do a lot of TNR and work with a number of communities/agencies and FKC is the most compassionate and caring. I am deeply grateful for all they have done to support my family and the community at large.”

They were warm and inviting even before I signed up, and the leadership has been very engaging since I've become a member. “Idk I had a good experience personally, but I know others may not due to the fact that SOME kids NOT all feel left out or mistreated even though the staff are treating everyone the same, or just because they’re being disciplined, but I think that usually the staff have a pretty reasonable explanation as to why kids get in trouble. I think that it’s good for structure in most of the kids life, they teach you valuable stuff like life lessons, how to do stuff as you get older, how to manage your emotions, etc. although it is usually more of a long term facility, so just factor that in before sending your kids. But overall I had a good experience and learned a lot I know some people don’t but I did happen to be at vista which is one of the nicer houses in my opinion. But anyway make sure that you guys get Jay as your therapist he’s cool, funny, but also makes the therapy sessions fun and seem like your just talking to a friend or family member! oh and make sure to talk to laniiiiii if she is still there (she was one of my favorites ngl she has a really good sense of humor without even trying to she is really nice and a cool person!), Samantha, Jessica , Jason, Forrest (he’s so nice and is literally an absolute sweetheart!), Saraaaaa (don’t let her fool you she isn’t as mean as she looks lol), and shayyyyy (she is really fun and outgoing but make sure to follow the rules so that you get to go on outings with her, trust me you’ll have fun!) I lappreciate all of you guys! ?:)”
