I love this vet hospital, the staff is always so friendly and never pushy if you don’t want to do something they recommend. They always give you printouts of stuff they recommend so you can look it up if you are on the fence. And most of all they treat all my pets with so much kindness!?
10 out of 10 recommend.

The entire staff from receptionists to veterinary assistants to Dr. Grevers herself provided exceptional service and care. We have never been as impressed as we were with our recent experiences taking our cats in for care at MarketPlace Vet. The care provided by Dr. Grevers was fabulous and included wonderful communication and thoughtful follow-up. We are grateful to the entire team!!!

My 17 year old cat was under the care of Dr. Grevers at Marketplace Veterinary Hospital for almost 2 year to monitor his kidney disease and arthritic limp. I liked the vet and a few of the receptionist, but when my cat slowly began to lose interest in food and life, I knew it was time to call to schedule his euthanasia. I spoke to the receptionist and I was shocked the price for euthanasia alone was $300, plus $68 for an exam fee, despite being seen only 4 months ago (cremation was an additional $297, which was fine). The receptionist was kind, but understood my reaction, $368 was a lot of money to euthanize an 8.2 pound cat! Normally I don't make a point of price shopping, but the price at Marketplace Veterinary Hospital felt like a price gauge when I was most vulnerable. I called around and found a local veterinary clinic that only charged $132 and would waive the exam fee. Needless to say, I will not be returning to MarketPlace Veterinary Hospital for the care of my pets.

Suki saw Dr. Godsey and team for many years. We couldn't have asked for more honesty and compassion. From routine visits to allergy seasons, shocking tumor and spleen removal, and managing a heart condition. They were our rock! And family :).

Great place. Helpful staff and don’t feel like it’s a constant attempt to upsell like some vets.

We brought our dog in for a cytopoint shot and we're charged $175 (our previous vet in the area charged $119 for the exact same shot). They also rounded our dog's weight up to increase the dosage without discussing this with us. I called after to address these concerns and to see if they would price match and they had no response other than that they do not price match. We liked the vet we saw, but not enough to be overcharged by over 30% for medications.

I was waiting for my pet nail trim. After @ 15 minutes I suspected something was wrong when the receptionist & myself heard an uh- oh. When Audrey the person who was trimming her nails brings my dog out & proceeds to tell me she clipped her pad & the Dr. put some quick stop on her paw to stop the bleeding. And she said if you have a problem take her to my regular vet. At NO time did she apologize !! I cld when I got home & said if there was a problem I surely wouldn't be paying my vet, they said no bring her back. I requested to speak to Dr. In speaking with The Mgr. Heather lied & said there was no blood. Then the Dr. Stephanie said tech did apologize she was listening to her talk to me, Lie again. Only the one front receptionist was present. Not a Trustworthy Vet. To add I was not alerted when Tech cut my dog. And if no bleeding why Quick stop told to me by All three. No pain medicine was offered. My Molly was in pain her demeanor was evident throughout the day. And I was Still Charged the $28.00 for The Service !!

My little chihuahua poodle mix dog came down with a severe ear infection over the weekend. He was walking with his head, tilted and shaking his ear. We knew he was in a lot of pain when we tried to clean his ear. He yelped so we knew it was very sensitive. This was breaking my heart as any Pet mom knows, you hate to see your little baby hurting. I had to wait until Monday to get him into a vet but because we are new to the area, I didn’t have one. I called several vets on Monday morning, and Marketplace Veterinary Hospital was the only place that agreed to see him. I was so grateful for that in itself. Their whole staff was very kind and compassionate and explained their treatment for his ear infection. Their prices were very reasonable, and I now have a new vet for the future.

I feel like it is definitely more about the money than the pet. I feel like I'm dealing with a car salesman because they are constantly trying to sell you things. The Dr. told me my dog had to take a pill once a month for worms and I said for how long? and she said forever!!?? For worms. Anywhere else you go they tell you to give them a dewormer once every three months I can go to a pet store and buy a dewormer for $12. This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about. I have never heard of such a thing. I have a six month old puppy that has to take a pill every month for the rest of his life to supposedly save him from getting worms. go in there for a check up and a rabies shot for my dog and they tell me he needs 3 more shots even though his shot record was current. I go back 1 week later because He had a little scab on his neck the size of a pea from scratching and they charged me $65 for exam fee to look at it. Then charged me $55 to shave it so they could see it and keep in mind. This is the size of a pea, And then give me 3 prescriptions that total $82, so $202 later I get my dog back with his tiny little scab shaved And they told me that he needs to take the medication for 10 days and see if it doesn't work they will have to prescribe me more medication so another 80 or $100 I asked for how long will this go on and she says Well we don't know! I'm pretty much done here, it's not just the money it's just the feeling you get from them. I feel like you're getting pressured to get all the shots that they have and all the pills. They even asked me if I wanted to give my dog a flu shot!!?? I hope you get a idea of their way of working. if you have money to throw away this is the place to go yeah, the people are nice but like I said, I think it's more about the money than it is about the pet.

I can't say enough about the professional and caring team at MarketPlace Veterinary Hospital. My elderly chihuahua was attacked by another dog and the wound got infected. This caring team saved my dog's life. Recently, we discovered that she has a treatable disease. Again the vets and team had empathy, care, knowledge and worked in tandem with me to provide my pupper with involved care.No doubt, I highly recommend!!!

A bit of a drive for us, but worth it! They are very friendly and loving hospital. Willing to answer any questions, willing to take the time needed and NO extra fees like some other veterinarian hospitals. 10 stars!
