This is best kept secret of the town of El Dorado. The owners & sales people are so nice and helpful. I feel like I have friends there. Everything they sell is top notch and unique. I love to buy gifts there. You must shop there soon and see for yourself.

Does every touristy section of a rural Sierra foothills town need a home decor boutique? No. But it sure does not hurt to have one. In the town of El Dorado, CA, they have the French Quarter Home Decor shop. It is right next to the iconic Poor Reds Bar 'n BBQ. The French Quarter inventory is quality made merch with a modern farmhouse charm. Prices are not outrageous. The staff is welcoming. The vibe was down to earth. The home decor items were on the lines of kitchen towels, cheeseboards, candles, vases, plates, mugs, box keys, pillows, seasonal decor, etc. Everything was beautifully displayed. They also sell woman's clothing, costume jewelry, purses, wallets, and accessories. They have an outdoor section selling new outdoor sculptures and previously owned (vintage like) wrought iron planters, arbors, shelves, and seating sets. If you are in the area, this place is worth checking out.
