“Grand Leader is something to look forward to! Prices are fantastic, and the quality and ratios are unmatched. The bread is always fantastic and fresh. Here, I’ve included a picture of what I get when I go during a morning: roast beef on Dutch with avocado, Asiago cheese, and an egg. People call me crazy, but this combination is out of this world! When you come here, you get a sandwich the way you want it.Also, for vegetarians, the veggie sandwich was my go-to for years. It is perfect.
Vegetarian options: The veggie sandwich is fantastic. And if you go before lunch, you can add egg to it for additional protein. So good.”
“This store is not only the BEST liquor store around, but they also have the most kind and customer-centric staff I've found. I did a super late night Door Dash order from them that was delayed by over an hour, and the store sent me some Doritos as a token of appreciation! It's by no means their fault as Door Dash had failed to assign a driver on time, but in my opinion, a small detail like that just really warms my heart and I feel so appreciated. “Love this place so much! I stop by here almost every time I'm in Pacifica. The owners are extremely helpful and great at helping you find exactly the wine you're looking for and pairing wines with your meals, and are fun to chat with. Their selection is so good that sometimes I'll go in, grab something random and cheap off the shelf based on *whims* and I know I'll always come away with something delicious. Queer-owned and fabulous.”
“I made a special trip to Vineyard Gate and I left with several bottles of wine and sake. This bottle shop made me feel like a kid in a candy store. I found a sake I haven't seen since a trip to Kyoto in 2019! I was super excited to encounter it again. The curated wine selection is also very good and i found bottles here that I haven't seen anywhere else--including San Francisco and Oakland. Alex, the owner, is very amiable, knowledgeable and hospitable. He also spins some good jazz records too!”
“They have a wide variety of drinks and every time I come in and look for something that I think it's gonna be too exotic for them to store they always have it and the best part is the customer service I really love Emme Cause she not only gives good customer service but she's genuine and she always has a smile on her face so even if I've had a rough day Emme makes me feel like it's gonna be OK I'm starting to feel like she's my friend even if she doesn't know it!!”

“Nice store. Deli was overwhelmed but not too bad: some excellent deals. Number One was a three salad + one roll deal for $6.00. So smart! Gives customers a chance to sample. Not so great was the Friday $5/lb chicken wings. If you like cold, fatty wings, this is your destination. I'd have probably loved them if I could have re-cooked them to my taste (almost burnt). Oh well.”
“Love Oceana Market. From the deli foods to their bakery department. Their own creations are always fresh and delicious. They also have a great number of IPAs and unique items in the gift shop. They even have Argentinian alfajores. They also have a good variety of organic and natural health products. Highly recommended.”
“*Old School Corner Store* Mom n' Pop Mini Mart style shop with premium liquors and a catalog to order whatever you may desire. Also offers fresh baked goods of different varieties. Plenty of unique gift sets options for any occasion. My personal favorite is seeing Big Papadopolis and The Momma Lama enjoying what they do best, serving the people. Would recommend this store to any who lives nearby.”

“Initially I wasn't too Impressed because it didn't seem like there was much going on but looks can be deceiving. Once I looked around I saw a pretty solid selection of stuff for a small place. And then I noticed that they had harder to find bottles of whiskey at decent prices which I appreciate. The guy at the counter was very nice and said he had lots of good stuff if I was interested so I'll probably definitely come back.”
“You know, good ol Safeway. Burlingame's safe so this safeway feels quite safe too. Grocery's always pretty reliable here.BUT okay their cream puffs. I just had to write this review to SHOUTOUT TO THE BAKERY DEPARTMENT!Their creampuffs -- quite delicious. Filled to the max with whipped cream. These cream puffs, even at 3.99, they are massive. It feels like you're holding a bigmac. This is a great feeling.Shells aren't like super crispy, we're not expecting that here since it's prob been sitting in a plastic tub for a few hours. But like man, this is still better than other cream puffs like mustache papa or something. I've also gotten the same cream puffs at the Millbrae Safeway, but their cream was like lemony. No good. Burlingame Safeway is where it's at.”

“If you're looking for a local market with a wide variety of craft beers during your stay in Half Moon Bay you'll be pleased to know El Granada Beverage Co. has got you covered. They also have some decent cider and hard kombucha options. The staff were helpful, kind and pleasant folk. They've got wine, water and snacks. All the usual mini market fare. Now we know where to go. Oh one more thing...you can mix and match their wide selection of micro brews. Pretty cool. Like Hazy IPA'S? I found a new one at El Granada called Juice Above the Clouds by Altamont Beer Works and it's absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.”
