After Nissan of Alhambra failing to prevent CVT Transmission from going bad, I refused to patronize by allowing Nissan of Alhambra to work on my car. Instead, I had Enrique & Robert replace my CVT Transmission with a new one for my Nissan Quest. So far the transmission is working outstanding ?? Thanks to AAMCO Technician who broke sweat on this job. I’m broke but happy drive mom around in what’s really her car, I just pay for it.

Friends and family say I am the most patient person they know. It's been close to 2 years that I haven't seen my vehicle. Ive been in touch with their regional manager, Mike Pecula, who has done ZERO to resolve this situation.I want my vehicle back and my money back!! This is unacceptable!DO NOT USE THIS AAMCO OR THE LANCASTER AAMCO. SAME OWNER.I give 1 star because I'm still a nice guy.

This review is long overdue. Not gonna go into detail it's too long and talking about it gets me pissed off. DO NOT take your vehicle here for any reason unless you enjoy being taken advantage of.

I brought my car to do an IVC initial vehicle check, they said it will take a couple of hours and it did. They told me what I need to be done and it should not take more than 2 days, it is now 8 days. Every time I call to see what's going on tell me they are trying to locate the part for my car. But they had already giving me a price for fixing. I have to keep calling them or show up to there business. It is very frustrating now that I looked and yelp and other reviews and other people had the same problem and keep the cars for days, weeks and months. I pray that doesn't happens to me. I'm female trying to get my car fix and I think they telling me anything. I just call today at to speak to Mike and the person who answered the phone he will have him call me back and I still haven't got a call back. I gave them a $500 deposit to get started. I guess I need to file something with the BBB.

Sept. 3, 2020After having my transmission repaired in Merced, Ca. for $5500 in September 2019 (Yes 2019) I barely made it to El Monte,Ca before it broke down again.I took my vehicle into the El Monte, Ca. AAMCO for Warranty repair (that was bought for 18 months) and arranged after several weeks for it to be rebuilt by them after getting approval from Corporate to do the work. I've been lied to, ignored and had very few of my phone calls answered. The only way to speak with someone is to go to the shop, but even there, no one knows what's going on with my vehicle except the owner Michael. Who will look you straight in the eyes and lie, lie, lie! You have the transmission spread out on the ground with your vehicle jacked up on stands and he won't do anything to it because he is to busy lying. This goes on for more than 10 months! We are told that the transmission has been rebuilt, but six weeks later it's still not in. (We call every week to hear more of Michael's lies) A new Manager from another shop comes to fix ALL the problems at the shop (I'm not the only one) and tells us the Transmission has never been rebuilt but is OK and they put it in only to find that the seal (using the old one) leaks badly. Pull it back out, strip the mounting bolts and another 4 weeks and it's back together. We are NOT happy with what's happening and Corporate has it towed to Merced where the original work was done to get it fixed. It is now the end of July 2020 and are told that the transmission is fine, everything is working and they did NOTHING to it. One year later and we are told it is ready to go. After waiting for a week for the tow we decided to go get it ourselves. Drive up early over the Grapevine and get to Merced about 10 am. Told that a new Transmission cooler was installed as requested but the battery needed charging. We leave, fill up the gas and head back to El Monte. Didn't get 25 miles when everything quits! No Battery, Totally dead. We drive 15 miles to the next town and get a new one, put it in everything good again. Or so we thought. Get five miles up the Grapevine and it quits again. Same problem, dead battery. Arrange for a tow from the side of the Freeway 5 to El Monte. Next day the vehicle is home.At this point we will Never take a car into AAMCO for ANYTHING. Each AAMCO is independently owned and Corporate doesn't support them. Corporate must give classes on the ability to LIE, DECEIVE and MISREPRESENT. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

I've been calling but can't seem to get you on the phone and drove back but you had already left. As you know, I brought you my truck because it was not going into gear, I picked it up today because I have to tow my trailer out of town fir work and it seems to shift ok. However, when I made a stop a few miles away from your shop in South El Monte, someone there asked me what was wrong with my truck when I pulled because it was billowing a lot of smoke out of the tailpipe. I had not noticed. Before you worked on it, it would only smoke a little while under extremely heavy loads if I floored it hard while towing up a hill. But now, as you can see in the video, it smokes a lot even at idle and billows smoke any time I accelerate under normal driving. So, even though you may have fixed the transmission; it seems like you blew up the engine. Why? You knew I had to travel 1200 miles tonight! You did not notice that the truck blows smoke abnormally heavy like a locomotive all of a sudden? Why would you do this to us? We are hard working people. Having to pay the 4K to have you fix the transmission was bad enough. Now what? New engine? This is beyond terrible. I can't believe it.Update: the transmission SLAMS into reverse, or drive now also just a couple of hours later!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Took vehicle in and I kept getting the run around. They had it for a month! Then to top it off when it was finally returned to me (did I mention a month later?) it broke down with the SAME PROBLEM...TWO DAYS LATER! Drive by at take a look at all the cars just sitting around. Be careful that they don’t up charge you like they did me. I asked for lowest quote and was charged next level up. Never agreed to it but they say I did orally over phone. THE EPITOME OF SCAM ARTISTS!

My car came out great and they took care of the issues my car had and even took care of some issues I wasn't aware of that they found along the way. And they kept me informed of the proegreds.
