I've always been to the AHF Hollywood location and has always been completely impressed by the services I received there. However, it is a rather long drive so I decided to checkout the El Monte location. It is posted on Google and other websites that this location is open from 1-5 on Thursdays. I went at 1 and saw a sign posted out front the actual hours for Thursdays is from 1:20. So I decide to wait in my car with AC pumping to survive the heat since there's not a lobby or anything with shade to wait in anywhere in that weird strip mall kind of place with random acupuncturist and 3rd world looking medical offices. So I went back at 1:25PM and the door is still locked!!! Anyways, I decided to take my losses and go home instead. A requested day off gone to waste :(

I've had a few different doctors, but Dr.Parveen Kaur, was honestly the best doctor I have ever had, other doctors that I have seen before her could not get my virus under control and undetectable, until I met Dr. Kaur, she adjust some of my medication, and was manage to get my viral load undetectable, and I will forever be grateful for that!, She was always a very thorough by communicating with me about my health and care, she told me personally that she had to resign and it was her choice, I was very saddened, and very disappointed to see her go, she was the best doctor I had ever had, and I miss her so very much, they're going to have a new doctor there at the El monte office, and I hope everything goes fine, with this new doctor, I will keep you up to date.

THE WORST!!!! I have been positive for 20 years and NEVER have I received such substandard care as I have since being under Dr.Parveen Kaur's care. At first, I wrote her flighty, disorganized, demeanor to being possibly understaffed but after several visits I realized it was just her way. She convinced me tlo switch medications which I reluctantly did. She insisted I switch pharmacies for some reason, which I did. I have never had to switch medications due to non-compliance. In this year of seeing her, every time I see her she acts as if its the first time, looking at my chart, asking me questions about decisions that she and I had previously made. This last visit was the final straw. She looks at my chart and asks me who some other Dr. was and when was the last time I had seen him. She was baffled when I had said that I had only seen her for the past year. Who this other Dr. was, I didn't know. She then asks me about some mystery medication that is on my chart and for how long I had been taking it. You can understand that my reaction was not pleased. Again, it appears as if Dr Kaur does not know what is going on with me and my health. I am incensed. He reaction to this is to walk out of the room and end the apptointment, knowing very well that I have been on the wrong medication for the past several weeks When I'm told to leave, I insist on seeing her and, at lleast, get my blood work drawn so we know where we stand with my numbers. She reffuses and calls the police on me. When I get home I find out that, indeed, I had been send and had been taking the wrong mediation . How this happened, I do not know but what kind of professional would let something like that slide without figuring it out???? Understandably, I was upset at her office. Something that could have been curtailed by the Dr. simply saying I"m going to find out what went wrong instead of walking out the door, leaving me in the exam room all by myself. Those who know, know that if you mess with medication the virus can EASILY find its way around the medication rendering it useless. So, understandably, my frustration is warranted I am flabbergasted at the level of care that Dr Kaur exhibited. Its as if she were trying to blame me for seeing some other Dr. Dr. Kaur, in my opinion, as a patient should not be practicing. She simply doesn't seem to care about her patients. I can't imagine what it would be like if I actually were symptomatic. BEWARE DR KAUR'S CARE, IN MY OPINION BOARDERS ON MALPRACTICE. My next call is to my attorney.
