I am 70 years old, my car's a/c is only has warm air, and the hot weather adds it more terrible.
I stop by this store for a freon. After purchased a freon set, and is my first try to do-on-myself in front of this store. I was impressed a young man, Guillermo of AutoZone's employee, comes out four times to check for me, and showed me how to get the job done in a right way. Finally I did.
So much to thank this good young man!

Josh is a a$$hole to the customers and shouldn’t be working here 2 times I have come in due to battery issues. First time he argues with me for a solid 30 minutes that the battery I bought was not a autozone battery I really didn’t care because it was past warranty so I was buying a new one but even with proof he still argues and had a arrogant attitude the 2nd time was 1 week post purchase of a new autozone battery he claimed I had to sit and wait 1 hour for it to charge and retest if it was in fact bad even though the nice young man already tested it and it came out as bad. Do not waste your time here he is a arrogant a$$ who won’t help you.

Buy parts here all the time, when i need them "Now", and cant wait. Or else i buy them online and wait a couple days. Emergency "Go-To" spot that usually has what i need. Sometimes theirs deals, some times really expensive. But their always there and open til 10. Just dont bother asking any of their employees any questions, your better off looking it up on google yourself, thats what their gonna do anyways. Rewards are better than O'Reily's though, by far.

Go to O'Reilly's, get it price matched don't waste your time here. This autozone I'm particularly used to be my go to spot for all my automotive parts, not anymore, I have had nothing but bad experiences and horrible service. I am sure there's still some good knowledgeable workers but I haven't had the luck in finding any of them at this time. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and they had me waiting over 20 minutes for some pricing that I never received. Most of the employees act like they are doing us a favor by attending to a customer. Like I said it used to be the spot, now just take your money elsewhere and save yourself the frustration. Do it right or do It twice but with their knowledge and reputation of giving you the wrong parts you'll be doing it three times.

This store location only, I went to pick up a part that only they had, they took way too long to finish helping me, they seem to be focused more on their own internal needs rather then customer service. As a mechanic, pick up a part should not had taken more then 1 1/2 hr waiting for service. Hope I don't ever have to go to this location any time soon.

I recently visited store #2863 in El Monte to have my battery checked. I was told by the Associate Mike that my battery was indeed dead and that I needed a new one that he was happy to deliver. I decided to get a second check from AAA and come to find out my battery was good and didn’t need changing. The problem is when I went to the store to inform Mike that he might want to have his tools fixed before any other customers think they need to replace their battery unnecessarily, his attitude was indifferent and he wasn’t as enthusiastic about servicing the customer as he previously was with trying to sell me a battery I didn’t need. I don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s a generational thing with him being younger and just “blah” about everything but no this is money that could be used towards something else rather then having to buy a battery because I didn’t get a second opinion. Terrible experience, terrible customer service, valuable lesson however.Called the customer service and let them know about my experience and no response.Got a call from this store yesterday but was at work and they left no message so nobody is taking this seriously it’s so sad.
