“I'm on my way to George's produce right now to pick up some cabbage and also to get some jalapenos this place is wonderful for low price deals they had Oreo cookies chocolate dip a box of 12 for $1.... yeah they may be a little out of date by like a month, but they're just as good and crispy as ever! God bless everyone that works and owns George's produce! They're wonderful people very kind,super friendly and helpful ... I absolutely love this place, and the people who work there... I highly recommend!”
“Staff are helpful. They don't always have what's in the ad that's why they're getting a 4 star. Prices on produce are usually lower than others. Today they had the nee doh chick eggs which will make great easter basket treats for the kids. Reasonable prices on seasonal attire. The bathing suit has interior mesh and love the corset back.”
“While in line I went to check for a drink in another fridge. The customer behind me assumed I was stepping out of line and started putting her stuff on the coveyer belt. This turned into a verbal argument between the other customer and I. I was pretty upset but knew this was an argument over spilled milk. No biggie. When I got to the cashier she seen everything that had happened and apologized even though the cashier was not involved in the little tiff. This cashier is really welcoming and kind. I didn't get to take a look at her name tag but she has beautiful brunette hair with blonde streaks. She deserves recognition for her courtesy.”
“Aldi is a very nice low cost market. Some of the brands are unknown, but almost always as good as the majors and they always have something new to try that the majors don't have. They are constantly changing special deals and special items which make it a great place to shop!”
“As slways, a trip to Aldi is an adventure as you always find things that catch your eye and suddenly you can't live without trying. If you are in luck, not only will it be something that is regularly stocked, but not on the will return later list. If you're not in luck, try it and like it, go back and buy as much as you can store! One example is the chocolate cherry smoothy. Gone for now and hopefully returning soon!”

“I like the low price the have, cheaper than COSTCO for a lot of them. On the downside, not a lot of selections. Item you buy may not be there next time. Time at the register has improved since they added the self checkout. Still don't like to have to look for a quarter to get a cart in this day and age where I almost never use cash.”

“I really enjoy shopping at ALDI in Downey. It’s one of those places where you go in for a few things and end up finding a bunch of stuff you didn’t even expect. They’ve got a great mix of meats, snacks, household items, and little treats—you can honestly get most of what you need in one trip.
The prices are a big win. You definitely pay less here compared to a lot of other stores, which makes a huge difference.
My only small complaint is that I wish there were more options for fresh vegetables and fruits. The selection can feel a bit limited sometimes. But honestly, everything else makes up for it.
Overall, it’s a reliable, affordable place to shop with good parking and a solid variety of products. I keep coming back for a reason.”
“really had a great first time here and got everything i needed. I had trouble finding doubanjiang that i needed for a recipe. I had it written on my phone. I asked 2 employees for help. they both immediately brushed me off about “no english” before even looking at what i was after. I spent a lot of time looking for it independently. Later an older white woman asked one of the same employees for help and he decided to help her. It put a bad taste in my mouth but the store selection is great”
“This is a remarkable market. It is the only place my family buys meat. We drive up from Orange County to shop there. Beef is USDA Prime and is always amazing quality. It has one of the few full service butcher services available. The butcher case is a wonder to behold. There are expanded grocery and produce departments with good selection. We also like the variety of specialty and gourmet items. We've always found the service there to be friendly and first rate.”

“Great place to pickup some fresh exotic fruits!They have high quality and hard to find fruit. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The inventory rotates regularly depending on what is in season. I got to try some fruits I haven't encountered before like star apples and ice cream fruit. And yes the ice cream fruit actually tastes like ice cream! The jujubes here are so sweet. My wife loves their kyoho grapes. They have blue eggs which is cool as they are pretty rare. Their dragonfruits are huge and so vibrant. The place is small but they have great fruits. Stop by if you're in the area. Thank y'all!”
“16pc chicken great buy at $14.99. It looks dry, but it's not. It's tender and juicy. I also bought chicken wings. The price was fair. The wings were tasty and meaty. They weren't messy like other wings. They're deep fried. Carlos took my preorder of chicken and did a great job. They were low on wings and he fried me a new batch of 2 pounds. I definitely will be ordering more chicken from them.”

“This is a good grocery store with affordable prices and good quality vegetables and other ingredients. There have been sales recently, and you can often buy items at special prices and giveaways. When the staff is free, they will help you put the items you buy into bags, just like the service in Western supermarkets.”
“This is my favorite Asian supermarket, The store space is a little bit small but the organization has improved in the past few years, I visited this super marketing since 1996, been here because they have a lot choice products from Taiwan and it also surprise me is the price is not rising too much like other store around this area.”
“my bestie and her husband used to live by here so we went things sometimmes to get dinner. They introduced me to alot of foods/ items I otherwise wouldn't have tried on my own. some things I liked was the salmon sashimi, unagi ?, like things beyond Cali rolls. also dried pork condiment to add for flavor and different sauces . my favorite aisle is the household aisle cuz they have cute chopsticks ? and ramen bowls and other cheap things. They also have good teas genmi cha and and frozen gyoza all kinds of noodles. All the ingredients you need to try and make the popular dishes out there. These stores are good for those that love Asian cuisine . The place is a lil rundown outside and inside needs a remodel but still it's one of the better locations overall imo”

“Shun Fat Supermarket is a great supermarket for a variety of Asian items. Besides getting live fish and veggies, they also have lots of instant noodle options. Vifon is a brand that has so many options of noodles. This time I tried their pho which came in a bowl or square packet. The bowl was convinient and authentic. I made a chicken pho ramen which was filling. It is a great price! The supermarket is clean with lots of items to get.”

“This market has their own food area where red beans and creme cakes are made on the spot, and TAIWANESE burrito!!! I probably only visit after eating at Hsin Hsin Shau May (Chinese Fast Food). I don't know enough about this 99 ranch to judge among other ones. I only came in to grab some AFC organic firm tofu, Chinese root beer soda and looked for herbal items.

- This looks amazing!!!!! Makes sense!! I love the crepeish tortilla instead. It comes with of course choices of stir fry cabbage, etc. Gosh, total shenanigan food...like what I would have done on college with Chinese leftovers or something. Love that!
- I've yet to try it but I intend to another time. It's fast food, not high quality but cheap and filling looking. We actually love Mexican burrito/taco shop, La Azteca, due to their fresh tortillas...reminds me of the crepe like tortilla used in Taiwanese breakfast crepe/egg dish? I wonder if this 99 Ranch's burrito is similar.
Red Bean/or Creme Cakes $1.50 each cake, or $6 for 5 cakes.
- The red bean/or creme cakes looked okay but due to nostalgia and the SO loving your stuff, we bought some to go. It looked bready with not enough crispy texture and not enough fillings. I don't know any other store that make these anymore except a shop in Little Tokyo LA....those are good.”
“My usual spot for groceries for many years. It's been around so long that it feels like time travel back to eighties and nineties. Prices competitive and there's always something on promotion. Everything you need for Asian cooking, be it Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese etc. Produce section is full of exotic stuff at low price. Meat and refrigerated section well stocked for a snap decision hotpot at home.”
“Door right away upon arrival Saturday 5am unloading within 5 mins I am pretty confident I will be on the road within an hour , culdesac says no parking and tow away I wouldn’t recommend overnight parking but for a couple hours I’d say it seems ok”
“Absolutely DELICIOUS. 10/10.We had: Bánh Ram ít (steamed rice dumplings), Bún Bò Huê (beef and pork noodle soup), Rau Má (pennyworth juice), Nuóc Hôt É (basil seed crystal jelly drink), and so much more.Everything was phenomenal, like really good home cooking. Fresh and bright flavors.Just make sure you use the dipping sauces for the right dishes.”

“This place is the best, I walk here all the time and if you have 6 dollars you can get 2 bags of chips or 1 bag of chips and 1 soda, AND you would still get change!! Place is clean and extremely cheap unlike the liquor across the street. This will always be my favorite market.”
