Depending on the item and how soon you consume it, it can be a great deal. It's funny reading some of the negative reviews complaining about the date. These folks seem to want Whole Foods dates for an item that cost only a buck...!?”

Today they had the nee doh chick eggs which will make great easter basket treats for the kids. Reasonable prices on seasonal attire. The bathing suit has interior mesh and love the corset back.”

“While in line I went to check for a drink in another fridge. The customer behind me assumed I was stepping out of line and started putting her stuff on the coveyer belt. This turned into a verbal argument between the other customer and I. I was pretty upset but knew this was an argument over spilled milk. No biggie. When I got to the cashier she seen everything that had happened and apologized even though the cashier was not involved in the little tiff. This cashier is really welcoming and kind. I didn't get to take a look at her name tag but she has beautiful brunette hair with blonde streaks. She deserves recognition for her courtesy.”

“I love my Farmers! A friend introduced me to this fantastic resource. I get a box of goods every 2 weeks of high quality vegetables and fruits. I can make such tastey dishes! I am my own Michlen star restaurant!! They know me now and I get special treats that they know I like. I can hardly wait for guava season. They have a variety of guavas. The farm is beautiful, a true sanctuary. When I pick up my box, I walk through the edible flowers. My favorite are the Jimmy Jump ups. Now I know the cats and volunteers too.”

“I have been taking my elderly parents to the Alhambra Ranch 99 Market even years before the Pandemic. Workers are very friendly and helpful. Grocery selection abundant and I stock. Seafood, meats, fruits and vegetables are fresh. Bakery items hot and tasty. Also, there are 3 in store specialty food shops to buy prepared food dishes. Very satisfied and highly recommend！”

“As slways, a trip to Aldi is an adventure as you always find things that catch your eye and suddenly you can't live without trying. If you are in luck, not only will it be something that is regularly stocked, but not on the will return later list. If you're not in luck, try it and like it, go back and buy as much as you can store! One example is the chocolate cherry smoothy. Gone for now and hopefully returning soon!”

“I really enjoy shopping at ALDI in Downey. It’s one of those places where you go in for a few things and end up finding a bunch of stuff you didn’t even expect. They’ve got a great mix of meats, snacks, household items, and little treats—you can honestly get most of what you need in one trip. The prices are a big win. You definitely pay less here compared to a lot of other stores, which makes a huge difference. My only small complaint is that I wish there were more options for fresh vegetables and fruits. The selection can feel a bit limited sometimes. But honestly, everything else makes up for it. Overall, it’s a reliable, affordable place to shop with good parking and a solid variety of products. I keep coming back for a reason.”

“Smells so good the second you walk inside the store. Lots of asian bananas and cherimoya on display. Just make sure not to press on them unless you want to buy that exact item! Not much displayed if you come later in the day tho (at least during my latest visit). They also have jackfruit and durian, fresh and peeled and ready to eat. May not be displayed but you can ask the lady in the back. She's nice and don't bother you when you're just browsing. Location is next to Shin Sen Gumi.”

“I usually shop at this 99 Ranch Market on Nogales Street in Rowland Heights. I stopped coming for a short while in the past due to some parking lot safety concerns, but I am glad to be back. This store always carries an incredible variety of brands and different Asian snacks. While running errands this morning, I noticed their Mid-Autumn Festival display is up for September. Just like in previous years, they have a massive selection of mooncakes. They even have the limited-edition Maxim Kuromi mooncakes right now! The packaging is absolutely adorable, and they are currently on sale. I also love getting their grab-and-go sushi from the deli section. This time, I noticed a new item: shrimp spring rolls. They are a unique fusion, like a crossover between a Vietnamese gỏi cuốn and a Japanese sushi hand roll. My daughters and I tried them, and they were absolutely delicious and refreshing! To top it all off, the cashier, Ming, was incredibly friendly and welcoming.”

They weren't messy like other wings. They're deep fried. Carlos took my preorder of chicken and did a great job. They were low on wings and he fried me a new batch of 2 pounds. I definitely will be ordering more chicken from them.”

“This is a secret gem (though not anymore). Competitive prices compared to other warehouse stores. Most things sold in bulk but good selection of items for the Asian household. Fresh Vegetables, canned goods and ... OMG, RICE. All our local Filipino stores in our area ran out of rice. My friend recommend this place and went here right away after lunch. Nice people working here. A worker helped me by delivering my purchase to my car.”
