UPDATE: it is now a year later and I have been calling my grandmas clinic to schedule her an appointment. But THEY NEVER ANSWER CALLS. This is unbelievable. I will be switching my grandma's insurance.
Original review : my grandma got assigned to this clinic through her Medicare insurance and always complains about the front office staff not answering her calls and not being helpful.
They have handed her the WRONG paperwork twice already. One that said she had a mass and was scheduled for surgery and another was discharge paperwork for another patient (definitely violating patient confidentiality since it listed this individuals' name, DOB, MRN and phone numbers). As a current Medical Assistant, this is NOT okay. I always make sure to answer all patient calls and give them the best care I can.
So please train your Medical Assistants better. Please do better Optum.

I transferred from Monrovia Optum, I was told I had to change my ophthalmologist that's in west Covina and have to go to Pasadena. I don't understand why I have to change when both offices are Optum. Will I be able to see my existing ophthalmologist?

Thank you Dr. Barba for being the best doctor! you are very professional, kind, and always looking for the best options to resolve our health issues. If anyone read this review I recommend seeing Dr. Barba.Also, the great customer service from Cristina Ramirez it was superb She is in charge of the customer relations at this particular office, and every time that I talk to her, she goes beyond her role to resolve any of my issues, kudos for Christina.I hope anyone from corporate can recognize her, she is D best…

I honestly don't see why this place has too many starts and good reviews... probably fake or family-friend "privilege"This place now is called optumVERY UNPROFESSIONAL My mother in law had an appointment at 11am, we got here at 10:40am (better early than late right!?) Its now 11:56 am and she's barely going in... with the st*&@d excuse that "the doctor is really busy" She is a diabetic 88 year old patient, since we are bringing here from far (personal reasons) she didn't even got breakfast ! What is the reason to give appointments for then patients if they are not gonna respect it anyway. Very very dissatisfied with the service, they try to make you feel like "im sorry but is the way it is" but guess what!? NO!We are paying for the insurance, we are paying for the "service"Time to find another facility (like is the only one) They could it do it over the phone to give blood results, a tele-visit or something But if this "business" is dealing with senior patients they need to realize and do something more convenient for their clients, the ones that you guys charge... remember is not free.... Our insurance that WE PAY!, pay for your salaries.... They are not doing Us a favor ....IF THERE is a next time to Come here I will not follow the appointment, is worthless, just show upThey are gonna keep u waiting anyway

Dr. Savage took the time to explain everything to me, and the staff (although building is under construction) were so nice, helpful and always smiled. I was a little worried when I got there and they made me feel good and comfortable, from the clerical staff, to the XRay and nurses.
