San Gabriel Valley Airport is a small municipal airport that offers a blend of modern amenities and a charming, old-school atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy the scenic views from a patio that overlooks the airport, with clear sights of airplanes taking off and landing against the backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains. The airport features a well-maintained runway and taxiways, with helpful controllers and plenty of parking that is patrolled by police. There are clean bathrooms and a shower in the Pilot’s lounge, although the shower is often kept locked to prevent misuse. On-site dining options include Anita’s Kitchen, a popular restaurant known for delicious, generously portioned food at reasonable prices. Its weekend menudos and Stack breakfast are highly recommended, and the scenic patio makes for a pleasant dining experience. The airport frequently hosts events and has a lively atmosphere, especially on busy weekends. It is also a location where the community gathers, with a diverse mix of families, old-timers, and aviation enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy a relaxed environment, with plenty of seating, and the airport's proximity to local roads makes it easily accessible. Overall, San Gabriel Valley Airport combines quality facilities, friendly service, and a welcoming vibe for both travelers and locals alike.
It's always nice to visit beautiful scenery against the mountains.

We go to Annia's restaurant located at the San Gabriel Valley Airport every week. The food is good, with a wide selection of breakfast and lunch options. The service is excellent! The servers, Cesar and AB, are wonderful. The helpers, Olivia and Louis, are so warm and friendly. It's a pleasure to go the Annia's.
