This is a Metro Green line station at Mariposa/ Nash. A day- pass to ride the Metro is now $7. It used to be $5 not too long ago. There is not much to do nearby except for nearby hotels like Hilton Garden and Hyatt Place. The station platform in the evening is very cold, so dress warm. The ticket kiosk is on street level. You stand on an escalator and let it take you up to the platform. The concrete chairs on the platform is cold, ugly, and has a butt cheek divider. The floor has some pretty butterflies. Wow!

Ok, it's become a little more useful now in the past 8 years since I wrote my first review. You now have the Hyatt Place across the street, the soccer fields, and the new mixed-use area between the Hyatt Place and Douglas. I still think the Green Line is a waste... they really should extend it out to the coast, or at least into Torrance.

The green line is a great way to get to El Segundo, beats 105 traffic. This station is close to many hotels and businesses, very nice clean station.

This station is pretty clean as far as not being run - down in any shape or form. You get a few things to look at while you wait. The soccer field below is a good thing to stare at while you wait. Other than that just a regular train stop.

I pay, I sit, I wait, train comes, I get on, we go. Is there really anything else I can say about a train station? Ok they have a great view of a soccer field. Lol
