The poster child for everything wrong with the US Postal Service. Surly clerks who apparently hate their jobs. Inconsistent hours. Errors in mail handling and rates. I don't know why this station remains open.

I went in to Elverano post officers mail a package, and the lady was so rude with zero costumer service skills! I don't usually say anything to just one person but she was so rude!

I miss Kathy Gerletti dearly. I have had a PO Box at the El Verano Post Office for over 25 years. I went in last week to pick up my mail and the employee could not have been more rude. She was extremely condescending, abrupt, and repellent. I do not expect the level of kindness and competence of Kathy, but seriously, since she passed, the staff has gone from okay, to bad, to worse. I will be using a different post office from now on, and even tho it will be a lot of hassle switching, this person cannot be allowed to ruin my day ever again. She is the worst person I have EVER met. Not hyperbole.

I have a P.O. Box here- I am giving them 5 stars because I had a phone call today to tell me that I had a large package - when I said I was going to get there close to 5 pm they said if I get there late bang on the door and I can get the package. Maybe it was in their way but how nice to let me know it arrived!

Very consistent with offering terrible customer service. During open business hours, they have been closed time and time again. Their posted hours of operations should be adjusted by an extra hour because no one is ever inside on time. I've had multiple checks "get lost" in the mail. I highly suggest going elsewhere. They are of zero help.

I didn’t want to write about the negatives of this place however whenever I enter this specific facility negativity is what I feel. All my experiences with the lean, curly haired lady have been below average. I feel unwanted and somber when attended by her. I went in knowing there was a mistake with my shipping label and offered to pay for the error and to get a new label. She told me in an agitated voice that she didn’t want my money and that I should just be billed for the mistake later. There was no one else in line, if she could have taken a few minutes to help me to prevent any hassles with my package it would have been more than appreciated. I’m upset she didn't even try. However the short lady that works there is an angel. 5 stars for her. Too bad I don’t see her as often.

I love this post office. The people there are very friendly and it is a very convenient location. I hope they never close this post office.

Kathy Gerletti left some big shoes to fill. Since she died, there have been a few different people running EVPO, some of them more personable than others, some better at their jobs than others, Kathy went above and beyond her job requirements, making visits to my PO box a pleasure. The folks running the place now are good at their jobs, just not so friendly, still much better than experiences I've had at the main Sonoma PO. This is a small, convenient location that I would hate to lose to USPS cutbacks.

They write on my packages and say they're gonna return our stuff if we don't put a mailbox out even though they have brought stuff up to our door.

The postal employees that work in El Verano are horrible! I have been going there for over 50 years and the attitudes there NOW are horrible. It is a very small post office in a quaint small community. They don't know what customer service is. At first I just thought that they were having a bad day....NOT!! Every time I have to deal with one of them they are rude, argumentative. I don't get it. If you are that unhappy PLEASE QUIT or transfer. You two, need to be in a large facility, in a very large city!! We have been blessed with having the best of the best. I am not giving up hope that upper management will make some positive changes.

Received a phone call and apology from the lady regarding the previously mentioned incident. I appreciate the quick response, phone call and that the situation was addressed. Time will tell to increase future experiences to a 5 star. For right now... I'm half way there. (Definitely a 5 star for the responsiveness of USPS)

Superlative in every way, on every visit, for years.
