I love Chris Gandys office and State Farm! Why? Because of Amber. She is AWESOME...SERIOUSLY!! She does everything she can to make sure not only that I have the proper amount of ins. coverage based on my personal needs but also at a great price. Plus, she is a great listener and always answers all of my endless questions. If you need insurance for your home, your car or whatever. I implore you to call Chris Gandys office and speak with Amber as she will get the job done! Thank you Amber and thank you Mr. Gandy for hiring her!

Unfortunately my experience with Amber was very frustrating and stressful. I attempted to get my policy costs adjusted, as I work from home so my miles have decreased. Time and time again I did not hear back. And when I finally did hear back it was excuse after excuse. She said she was out for over a month. Okay things happen, but you don’t have a backup in place to help your customers, they’re just left in the dark for a month or more? Later I never heard back again, and again and again. I also got misinformation several times and she kept moving the goal posts. At first she said the change could be made at renewal time, and I’d get a call before renewal time to set this up. No call. Then suddenly the story changed, she said we have to wait 120 days. Then after I called out the discrepancy in what she told me, she said she was going talk to someone to see if they can make the change now (as originally ppromised) instead of waiting 120 days and she would call me back. Guess what, weeks and weeks passed, not only no change, but not even a call back. Then when I followed up, she said she had already told me they couldn’t do anything to help until the 120 days had passed. Seriously?? And what was really frustrating is when I brought up these concerns she denied them or just ignored it. I also asked twice to have Chris Gandy contact me over the frustrations, but she ignored those requests.After many many chances and a lot if patience, I finally switched auto insurance companies which is actually saving me $360 per year. In fact most other companies had far better rates. So although frustrating about the poor treatment, at least I’m saving some money as a result.

Not sure why this says I'm from San Francisco, I'm in Elk Grove. Absolutely the worst Agent and State Farm is the worst Insurance company I have ever delt with. I was stranded in a snowstorm (13 degrees) for 6 1/2 hours waiting for a tow truck. 4 hours in, they said I cancelled the tow truck, really?? I was 6 blocks from the repair facility. I couldn't talk to the same person each time I contacted them. I logged 37 different people I had to talk to. My agent, Chris Gandy, would not even call me back to help me. Now 6 months later, the repairs done were done improperly and Chris and State Farm won't do a thing to help me. To this day, Chris has never contacted me, even after I requested a call several times, I've gone into his office several times and he is never there. The only shining light in this company is Amber who works the front office. Do not use this agent (Chris) or company (State Farm)!!!!

So I gave a review 5 months ago about Amber at State Farm. This is an update to the review. She is still the reigning insurance MVP!!! Whenever I need her, (which is often) she takes my calls and delivers as promised. I am so grateful I met her 4 years ago. She provides personable service and responds to my emergency "need it like yesterday requests."She came through again for my non-profit organization!

Amber is always ready to help in all ways. I have been with State Farm for more than 50 years and it's people like Amber that keep me there. Chris Gandy is great and so are his office staff.
