These guys are awesome. Either Christopher or Tommy helps me out every time by coincidence. There is a guy from Tuners Florin that left that stupid place to work here. They always take great care of your needs, although it does get pretty busy as they can get understaffed at times. So if you're in a hurry, I suggest you make an appointment. Thanks guys! I wish you made commission on sales. Thats the only reason why I can't give this company 5 stars. Step your game up, Sportsmans Outdoors and pay your people right . Otherwise, great exp

I bought a clock 9mm online so when I went to pick it up Matthew was there helping me. I took my car registration and my drivers license as two form of ID. My car registration was for a week later since my old one was going to expire, I paid the registration at AAA at three the old one out but had new registration. He said it would not work since has a week future date in it. Just agreed and said okay let me get my forearm safety certificate. Apparently I couldn’t do that either. Cancelled my order went to Turners Outdoorsman on florin road. Was able to purchase my gun there and do my fireman safety certificate same day right there. Not sure if Matthew was unhappy with me or needs more training but if you go there, please avoid Matthew and see if someone else has more knowledge and help you. Personally, not going there again ever

I didn't need anything at the time of my visit, however the store has only been there for a very short time. So I decided to go check it out and I was duly impressed.If you need something to enjoy the outdoors I am positive that you will find it here, I don't know anything about their pricing but if I need it, price does not really matter. I tried doing a 360 video however it was too long so the message app shortened it to 30 seconds! Sorry ?

Well, the first thing you might notice is the size, this Sportsmen's is the largest I have been in. There is a lot to explore. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The firearms counter did have more pistols then my local store but nothing new, as for the rifles there are also more but aging nothing too new. The ammo a lot but the basic caliber. Unless I am mistaken I did not see any archery equipment. Like I said I am not sure.

Horrible .com experience! I placed an order one night and got sent the order info. The next morning I seen another notification saying my order was canceled due to “payment verification issue”. How strange…I made sure to check with my bank and no issues on my end…I called up sportsman’s warehouse and explained the issue and I was told that the customer support team would be In contact with me to fix whatever issue they were having. Nobody did…I had to call my bank again to make sure that the pre authorization charge would be returned to me…how can you pre authorize the specific amount pos purchase to my bank account but there’s payment issues? Safe to say that I was highly frustrated with my FIRST time trying to support this company and get myself a new knife. I wasted time and patience with all of this so I’ll be glad to order from the manufacturer next time even if it’s a few bucks more…absolutely rediculous

The workers are incredibly nice, knowledgeable and super helpful...when you can find one. If you plan on buying anything that requires someone to help you, think about bringing food to snack on because you are going to be there a while. Only place I know with longer wait times is DMV.

Went in for a two gun, safe. Found what we are looking for, but the display was a mess, none of the merchandise matched up with the outdated price tags. We honestly had no idea what the price was until we got to the register.We waited almost 15 minutes in line as there was one person ahead of us, and only one checker. The checker said sorry we are really busy today. I counted no more than three customers in the entire store, and only one other worker in the entire store. Be sure to know what you were looking for as you will not find anybody to help you on the floor.

Racist? Went in excited and interested in purchasing my first firearm but was ignored entirely.I'm literally the only black person in the store and I'd just confirmed with the older gentleman, who was originally pretending I was invisible, that I had a number. They took 45, I was Number 46.I could hardly hear the gentleman say it, but they dismissed my number and helped 47, the white guys, before I could even round the isle corner. Fewer than 5 seconds? Seriously, what's up?

I came to this store at 7pm and at 7:05pm I got my ticket at the gun counter to be helped. At 7:45pm they removed the tickets from the machine so anyone else who tries to get one after will have to come back the next day. My number was up next finally after waiting almost two hours at 9pm the lights shut off automatically and "Marcus" said we can't help you we're closed you have to come back another day. This got me irritated because they took the numbers away at 745 so everyone who got a number before would be helped. He then says there is no "guarantees". Well why didn't he say that to begin with when I got the number. I then began to look for a manger when another employee who's name is Huart said I'll help you. The lights then turn back on and Huart is helping me with the transaction. Sadly he said he's only there at that store training other employees and it's his only day at that store. There really should be more people like him. Marcus needs be trained at knowing the rules and customer service. The store has a big selection of items and a lot of things in stock. Everyone was nice and helpful at the checkout stands except Marcus. I didn't get an apology from him for being wrong. All I got was a mean face.

Today is their grand opening!!!! A lots of stuff in stock! Come and check it out! We love sportman, best price and best items! Had fun shopping today and have excellent customer service! One thing I love is normally they have fake bird place in the store which I am scared of, but this one is totally comfortable, love it

Here on a Saturday afternoon and I must say that the customer service here is great. Every corner we went every employee we encountered greeted us and asked us if we needed help. More items available here than the store we have in our hometown.

oh the vast emptiness. Not with the merchandise but with the employees. got to spend a good amount of time looking for help and any employee that I did see quickly disappeared.

I dont why people shop at a big box store when you have Amazon and no problem with returning merchandise. I can get too way better service at Amazon than walk-in stores. Why do we have store I don't why we must have alot of stupid people in Elk Grove. I heard the stupid stories that we have to support our local stores, I don't think so when we have Amazon...please who said that. If you cannot beat out Amazon and their service and their easy return policy then you cannot beat out period. When i went there on 7/24 there was alot of people line and 1 stupid cashier who was stupid. I don't why cashiering is so hard and difficult when you have a scanner with a wand and just press and hit the bar code. There is no confidence in their employees at all. What I did is take a picture of the product and product tag and go on Amazon and purchase my product there instead. How does a big box store stay in business when you Amazon taking away business especially when you have employees standing around and not helping customers. People in Elk Grove, don't be stupid just shop at Amazon and maybe these big box stores will give you better customer than be a bunch of snobs
