I have been going to Elk Grove Toyota for years, even after I moved further away because the customer service has always been exceptional. I live close to several other Toyota dealerships but continue to make the further drive because the staff are super friendly and always go above and beyond. I wanted to make this specific review to highlight Roger Abbott who works in the Parts department. I was looking to replace the torque converter on my 2014 Toyota Camry. The auto shop I went to told me they'd have to contact Toyota to get the replacement price. Long story short, the price Toyota quoted my mechanic was astronomical ($1,053). I decided to call and confirm myself and spoke to Roger, who verified that that the current price. I thanked him for looking into it for me and that was that. Roger ultimately called me back about 30 minutes later to let me know that he decided to look into it a bit further because the price didn't sit right with him. Lo and behold, there was error with the price and it was actually $577! I would have never known this and would have paid the additional $476 to my mechanic had Roger not taken initiative to investigate it further and let me know. I was so impressed by his gesture because he absolutely did not have to waste time looking into it but I am so thankful that he did. He was courteous, respectful, and took initiative where he didn't have to. He is absolutely one of the many reasons why I will always take my business to Elk Grove Toyota.

Great service. My car was hesitant to start I dropped by hoping they could fit me in. They were able to replace battery, do oil change, rotate tires and wash it within 2 hours. Everything I needed. What a relief. Good to go for the holiday.

Every staff I interact with is always so nice and understanding. I go here every time to get my car serviced and haven’t had an issue. I also recently had to go in last minute without an appointment and they not only fit me in, but got me in and out so much sooner than anticipated.

Quickest car buying experience ever. Mo was our Salesperson and he did a great job. Our finance/loan officer was fantastic. It was just a great experience. I will be buying more cars from Elk Grove Toyota.

Cost $87 for a synthetic oil change. They have a nice waiting area where you can plug into chargers and use laptops. It took just over an hour with an appointment and a free car wash. Staffing is courteous and they explain all the work done very well. 10x better than the god awful service at Roseville Toyota.

I’ve been coming to Elk Grove Toyota since moving to Sacramento in 2021. The prices have been fair, customer service is stellar and I have peace of mind knowing the work is top quality. Tre has been excellent for me in my last 3-4 visits. He’s great at breaking down prices and even finding opportunities for me to save!

Buying a new car has to be one of the most unpleasant experience possible. Having done it a couple of times in the past, I was dreading it when we recently made the decision to look at buying a new Toyota. Went down to Elk Grove Toyota on a weeknight to do a test drive and left with a new car! I was really surprised at how easy and smooth the process went. The salesman who worked with us (wish I got his name) was as low pressure as is humanly possible. He was so quiet and non-pushy that I ended up chatting about the car to fill the void (I tend to do that a lot anyways..) The actual purchase process was fairly quick. I had no wiggle room on the price as the model we test drove was in high demand. I asked for a reduced price and was basically told no. Discussed finance options, agreed on it all, then after a while met to talk about protection plans. This is where I kinda lost steam. I asked a ton of questions during this process and I never once felt like the salesman lost his patience with me. To sum things up, got a great car that we are super happy with and didnt loathe the process so would recommend. Oh yeah, left out that during the test drive my daughter drew my attention to a perfectly formed rainbow... almost could have been a car commercial!

Recently I bought a used Toyota vehicle from somewhere else but I brought it to Elk Grove Toyota to have it serviced. I had requested them to do a lot of work on my vehicle so they offered me a rental car for my convenience. Later that evening, they communicated that they would not be able to finish that night and to keep the rental vehicle for a day. The next morning Elk Grove Toyota called to inform me that my vehicle was done and that afternoon my vehicle was returned to me shining and sounding good. I returned three days later to the dealership only to pick up a second key FOB and to have it programmed. I was in and out within an hour. Thanks Elk Grove Toyota.

All I can say is I’m very happy with my experience here at Elk Grove Toyota. They have way more cars to choose from than any NorCal Toyota dealer I’ve seen. The staff here are very friendly. I just want to say thank you Ryan my Sales guy and Duong the Finance Manager for making it happen with the purchase of my 2024 Camry SE! ??

Got my car in and out the same day. Which was important to me considering how much I use my car for work. Mike was very nice and people friendly. Would go here again for sure. Very satisfied with the repairs my car underwent. Runs like new!

Bought bad part here and they refused to exchange and give credit. I bought a timing chain tensioner there last Thursday . I tested it out before installing it and I found out it is a bad part so I bought it back and ask for help. They didn't want to help. On the other hand the manager yelled at me not to test it just install it. They said nothing they can do with that part but will sell me another one. This is BS. Lost $50 on that part to learn a lesson otherwise that bad part could kill my engine if I did install it.

Tl;dr- beware of their trade-in inspection practices. They won't tell you they are looking at your car and hand your keys to another salesman without your permission while you're not in front of your car or watching. The experience made me feel violated and deeply distrustful. I had a very worrisome and sketchy experience at this dealership. Was with my husband and we were looking at a Toyota Sienna around 4-5pm on 10/15/23. After test driving, the salesman had asked if we wanted to trade in which we did give him permission to look at the trade in value of our car but not sure if it's standard procedure or why he needed our key. He started our car and I observed him while we were in the lot but he later left (with our key) and I know this until afterwards and did not mention he was handing it to another sales agent Jay to take a second look to inspect. We later sat down in the meantime inside the dealership with our little one to wait after Long spoke with us briefly there and I didn't realize he still had our key and had passed the key to another salesman without our permission or letting us know at the time that that second salesman looked at our car bc he didn't mention anything initially and my husband (who is usually reluctant to speak up and bc thought they knew what they were doing didn't question it). The salesman later told us he handed off our key to someone else without telling us and without us there. Who knows if it exchanged hands in between while we were inside and if something was taken from our car. I told my husband to go watch the car when I realized this situation but no one was at our car and they were already done when he came out to observe. Very sketchy at worst bc it's our car and not theirs and lack of communication/professionalism. I'm afraid to go back to this dealership bc they look into your car and give your key around without telling you or having you there at the time when they do an assessment. We didn't even agree to a trade in , just an assessment by Long when we were watching, and didn't even know who he handed off our keys to when we weren't looking! He didn't tell us who he handed off our key to so someone was just in our car without our permission or us being there! Very sketchy if you ask me. Something could've been stolen. Oh and for your grads in value, they also will cut the value for "reconditioning fee" which we read online is a scam. P.S. also very pushy on sales saying "what would it take for you to drive this car off our lot today?" trying to sell us a used 18k+ mile Canadian car with faults and chips on the seat fabric on the inside for higher than MSRP, saying that's just usual for used cars. Said there were 800 people on a waitlist for a car that's only available once every 6 months. They literally said they only have one on the lot every half a year. Really hard to believe.

Michael Lau, one of the Express Maintenance Advisors at this EG Toyota dealership, was fantastic!! Not only did he help make sure the work on my son's car was done as quickly and efficiently as possible, he also went above and beyond to advocate for my son with his insurance company that initially was not going to cover this damage from an accident. After Michael's help, the insurance company decided to cover this damage 100%! The work done and staff at this dealership are excellent. We highly recommend this dealership for all your service needs.

Jeannette was absolutely FANTASTIC! I couldn’t find a menu on my dash, as I’m still very new to my Prius prime, and she helped me so fast. I was just a couple buttons away apparently ?????? she had me in and out of there super fast and was incredibly helpful. Thank you so much, Jeannette! You’re a life saver ??????? I’ll definitely be coming back for future services and maintenance ?
