Terrible customer service. My first night, the people in the room next to me were playing very loud music so I had to move rooms which they did help me with. Almost all the employees seemed to be in a bad mood. I also spoke to someone over the phone and she said a very rude comment.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I would really rate it ZERO stars...I failed to read reviews before booking the room, shame on me, OMG!!! I slept in full sweats with my sweatpants tucked into my socks. I was freaked out all night that bedbugs were going to get me!! if my husband and I had not been so tired we would have left...the hotel SMELLS!!!

The room was clean. The lady at the front desk almost didn't check me in despite me having a reservation. If you book here, make sure to get a confirmation number.

Horrible experience! We made reservations the day before and said we would be arriving after midnight. When we arrived the surly employees informed us that we couldn’t check-in because the system was doing an audit that could take 2 hours. My parents are 86 years old, it was 1am, we’d been traveling all day, the hotel knew we were coming, and they wouldn’t check us in or let my parents in a room, or even offer a place to sit down and wait. No manager to speak to. No corporate to reach out to. The desk staff were absolutely unhelpful, no solutions offered, and utterly uncaring. We had to leave find somewhere else to stay at that hour of the night, which we did and Holiday Inn Express just down the road was a far better place. The desk employee there said they do system audits too that prevent check-ins, but theirs takes 15 minutes and they only do them after all check-ins are complete…good customer service.It wasn’t just how callous and not customer service oriented the employees were that was so terrible, it was the reflection on the whole company to treat customers with such disregard.Yes, they’re the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for.

Amenities are minimal. Unfriendly arrival (with a long wait just to get inside). Out of service elevator. Strange odor throughout the hotel. Plus, the breakfast is grab and go. This is not stated on their website. Covid is over. Go back to old fashioned hospitality.

ZERO STARS ! STAY SWAY !If you like dirty and unprofessional well you found your hotel ! We decided to not even stay the night because the rooms are absolutely unsanitary. The stove tops were all rusted, bathroom plug didn't work, staff could careless. Stay away !!!!!!!!!!!

Melissa completely ruined the experience with her bad attitude and unprofessional behavior. Will be filing a complaint against her for canceling my reservation for no valid reason after I had already checked in. Approached with a snotty attitude accusing me of having a party because I had a balloon topper. Repeatedly told her I was not having a party just decorating for a bday and there would only be 2 guest (me and my girlfriend). She kept accusing me telling me she was going to have her staff watching me. I go up to my room and start unpacking on for her to call being petty telling me I had to come out and get refunded because she's canceling my reservation. My girlfriend went back to see what the issue was and the associate Charity sat there and lied for her manager saying my demeanor in the way I said okay well I'm not having a party. If I have to keep repeating myself 5 times as the manager keeps accusing me then yes my demeanor is going to change to match the managers tone. If she didn't like my tone then maybe she should change the way she approaches and talks to guest. She got the same tone and demeanor she approached me with

Very satisfied with the accommodations. Great staff that knows how to treat their customers.I was at the Elk Grove location for over 2 months and would not hesitate to stay there again.

We asked for a additional pillow since we only had one on one bed and the other had two. They said they didn’t have any more pillows.Food & drinks: They have oatmeal yogurt for breakfast and have coffee tea and hot chocolate.

If I can give them negative stars I would my pregnant gf was treated with the up most disrespect ive ever seen making my pregnant gf walk back and fourth knowing she pregnant with swollen feet and one of the staff told my girl to step out to f the room ancmy lady said let me get dressed and the staff said ur already dressed and told my girl they have to do a walk through never seen a gust be treated so foul and tobe honest they are lucky I wasn't there so rude and out of pocket hopefully they don't treat all there guest the way they treated my pregnant girl and I usually dog write a review so hopefully this helps everyone

I recently needed a place to stay while my home was being renovated. I stayed at Extended Stay America in Elk Grove and it was the worst experience. I have never seen such poor customer service. My freezer was broken the day I checked-in. When I told the front desk about the problem, the girl at the front desk told me that maintenance would be in that day. Naturally I assumed I would come back, after work, to a fixed freezer. So I again, went grocery shopping for lunch items for the freezer. To my surprise it was still broken. Come to find out the maintenance guy was not scheduled to come in that day. So the next day I called the manager Melissa McFarland. She was incredibly rude and needed some serious customer service classes. She told me that the maintenance guy went to my room and that my freezer was working just fine. I guess I intentionally threw away ALL of my lunch meals and chicken for the he'll of it. I told her that's not possible because my ice cube trays still have water in them from 4 days ago. She proceeded to tell me that she believed her maintenance guy. WOW. then I asked her about the laundry facility. When are they going to fix the dryers? Only 2 out of 6 dryers were working. Her response was 'I don't know anything about that' What? You are the manager, right??? How do you not know about this big issue. It took me over 2 hrs to do laundry there cause everyone needed the dryers! So unexceptable. When u checked in I was told my room would be cleaned once a week, after the first week. Do you think my room got cleaned?? Nope, I had to ask the front desk, 2 days after they were supposed to clean it. Also, on a daily basis I would find trash, empty pizza boxes, etc. laying around on the 2nd floor. Nobody ever walked the floors to make sure things were tidy and free of trash. They have a "Trash Room" on the 2nd floor, near my room, it would constantly be so full of trash that the door wouldn't even close and trash poured out into the hallway. ALL of the staff up front are rude, with the exception of one woman. I wish I knew her name so I could tell her how professional and kind she was. Other than that, they are all ghetto. Not once did I notice a smile, a nice comment or even a welcoming "hello". They need some serious classes in how to treat people, especially the manager. I checked out of the hotel still owing a days worth of stay so I called the manager to ask for the total owed so I can pay it. As soon as she got on the phone, our conversation went like this. She said, "Hello?" I said, "Hi this is Lisa from room 218, do I have a balance owed?" She said very rudely, "You sure do!!" I said to her "that was rude of you", she then said, "Cut to the chase!!" I was appalled and completely shocked at how she was talking to me. She then said, "Hold please!!" And left me on hold for over 5 minutes. I know she purposely put me on hold for no other reason but to piss me off. I eventually hung up and called right back and another girl answered the phone and I could hear the manager in the background yelling, "I'm not talking to her!!" WOW, how did she ever get a job in customer service??? since then, I have made a formal complaint with their public relations department. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. SHE WILL CAUSE YOU MORE STRESS THAN ITS WORTH.

Asian lady and black lady at front desk are extremely rude and unprofessional they will take your money and not let you check in if you can't afford the deposit and they will also refuse a refund these ladys are so mean and unprofessional stay away .

The rooms stove doest work, the service is so bad, the manager is very rude and responsible and employees are the same very bad customer service and so aggressive. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

I travel 3-4 times a week and this hotel has been my nightmare. I will never book with this hotel anymore. After i booked and the customer service over the phone told me “that i can check in anytime any hours and no problem”, as soon as i arrived they said “ we can’t check you in because it is passed mid night”, no solution, left me outside, they don’t care at all, manager is not available at all, i had to go the whole night and look for other place for me to stay. 0/10 customer service, be ware management is not available at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AT ALL.
