We have had nothing but great service. Drivers are courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Upgraded our tank without any problem. Signed up for their great autofill program. Office employees are great with customer service and suggestions. Pleased with the price per gallon. Outstanding company!

The staff are friendly and the deliveries are reliable. However, when we were without propane due to a defective new regulator for several months in the winter, so no hot water, (which we later found out was a known issue), we were disappointed that we didn't get any kind of credit or even an apology.

Ferrellgas (Elk Grove CA) customer service used to be awesome and local and now it's corporate and sucks. The internal communication is terrible. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The messages rarely get to the drivers.The only reason most people I know stay with Ferrellgas is they are cheaper. Others I know have left despite them being cheaper just to get back to local quality service.I don't think it's the fault of the Elk Grove office, but the result is the same for the customer.

Very poor customer service and communication. Did not properly set up my account to (Keep full, autofill.) Called on 1/12/23 to get this corrected. Was instructed they would update the account to autofill. Have ran out of propane again. When speaking to customer service they said it was my reasonability to keep calling in for fill ups because the request from 1/12/23 still has not been approved. it is 4/4/23. Customer service in not a priority to them.

Worst service! We are on the auto fill program and they’ve let us run out of propane twice this winter. And now it’s taking days to get a delivery. They tell us “tomorrow” everyday and then never show up. We are out of propane, it’s below freezing at night, and we have no heater, hot water, or stove. And with two children under 5, it has been awful. I cannot wait to get rid of this tank and this company once the weather warms up.

The consumer complaint filed by Ms. Freitas has been forwarded to the Ferrellgas LegalDepartment for investigation and comment. I have completed my investigation, talked tothe relevant field personnel, and offer the following response:Ms. Freitas's concerns to relate to the propane delivery timeframe.Upon ordering, Ferrellgas Customer Service provided the customer with a deliverywindow. That window is an estimate and can ultimately vary due to factors like demand,weather, road conditions, etc.The customer received her propane order on March 9, 2023 and her tank was not empty.Ferrellgas strives to provide best in class customer service and we regret that Ms. Freitasdid not feel she received such level of service. Her complaint has been sent to the relevantfield personnel.Thank you for bringing Ms. Freitas's concerns to our attention. I hope the above resolvesany remaining questions or concerns. Thank you.They neglected to say our tank was at or below 1% when they finally filled it.

Horrible customer service. Called Monday for a tank exchange. was informed that sometime between Monday and February 2nd I would get the delivery. Called Friday asking when they thought they might be here. I was told I was on the route driver’s schedule for that day. No propane. now Saturday I have two empty tanks and they’re closed on Saturday. when this place was Capitol City Propane, the customer service was awesome. Now it is horrible. Over the last couple of years I’ve had to call several times and ask for an update on my delivery. Capitol City Propane would actually call me when they were in the area to see if I needed any propane. Also, Capitol City Propane answered the phone with a real person not a voicemail that asks you to confirm your address three different times. After getting multiple prompts, Ferrellgas will put you on hold endlessly until you can talk to a real person. I give them one star because when a driver finally shows up or person finally answers the phone they’re very helpful, polite and professional. Looking to switch companies.

Thank you to Ferrell Gas Co. We had a leak and ran out of propane when it was freezing and snowing outside. Carol Smiley came through and got us a quick delivery. And the technician was extremely polite and helpful!!!!! Thank you again for saving us Ferrell Gas!!!!

Wish I could give zero stars. Became a new customer, went to order my second delivery and they never verified my Farm bureau account. So I had to wait. After a week another customer service rep said I only needed to provide my fb #. Now I was able to place my order. My take was at 30%. I was told a week till delivery. Promised delivery on Monday the, 23rd. No one showed up. By the way tank at 10% now. Every day I had to call and see if my house was put on the route. All I would get was a sorry not today. 10 days after my order I have ran out. No heat in my house and water heater is running off of a BBQ tank. On the 27th I was told sorry for the last time. I requested a refund and to pick up their tank. I was shocked they didn't seem to care.Short story, price may not always make up for customer service !

Just the worst of the worst! I wrote a review under "Ferrellgas Castroville," so go look it up if you want to know how poorly managed, dishonest and unreliable this company is. They endanger their customers! Ferrellgas takes no responsibility for their failures, but puts the blame on the customer.

For the first time in 15 years of owning my place I ran out of propane because I did not pay attention to the gas meter. No furnace, stove, dryer, or hot water for showers, laundry and dishes. My bad, my fault. I ordered propane but the demand is insane right now, so it took more than a week to get my delivery with so many more customers that had ordered before me. Sean made the delivery on Martin Luther King Day, which I did not expect, it was a holiday. But the company is making sure people are getting their gas. He quickly showed my city boy son how to set the pilot on my water heater and then was on his way to fill the next customer. The road to my house is a challenge even with cars because of the mud. I do not have payment or asphalt going to my house. It was not an easy delivery to make. I am really pleased I made the move to this gas company last summer. I made the move because of their prices. But I am pleased to see the service is on spot as well.

The WORST. This company has left us with zero propane for the past 18 days. We have no heat, are senior citizens and propane is our only source of heat. Agents refuse to let you speak to a supervisor. We have called several times and have been told we have 15 days plus 3. We are now on day 19, saw a truck in our neighborhood and we received nothing. Unimaginable that in winter this company feels it is completely okay to leave seniors with no heat.
