Let me just say.... bacon wrapped shrimp...in a burrito . The person that took our order recommended the Mariachi Burrito. Took her advice, and will never look back. Best Burrito ever. Service was awesome as well.

Great food, quality meat and fresh vegetables, salsa, and everything was just great. Highly recommended if you're in the area.Service was absolutely great, very friendly, polite, and professional. Lots of parking and many stores and shopping in the same parking lot.

Was craving carne asada fries and came here since it was close by. The carne asada fries were super soggy and barely cooked. Also there was a pool of grease at the bottom of the container. I felt there was not enough toppings to fry ratio. The California burrito had the same issue with the barely done fries. The flavor of the chicken was very good though. Food is not the best but workers are very kind.

Had an actual BUG in my food. It was alive and crawling all over my tacos. I don’t know how the hell you miss this. Actually disgusting.

Omg I think the lady that work at night is very rude I'm sure she probably had a hard day like the rest of us and as a result my food wasn't what it used to be

Netillo's Takos was first founded under the name of Flakos Takos by a pair of siblings in 2016. Since its inception, it has grown to two brick-and-mortar locations - one in Elk Grove, and the other in Downtown Sacramento. Netillo's Takos is a Mexican restaurant with an emphasis on both authentic flavor and quality fast service. Their menu has a wide variety of offerings from tacos to burritos, to quesadillas, and even some less traditional items like their quesapizza. Their Elk Grove location is located at the corner of the Laguna 99 Plaza with plenty of parking, which made it a breeze to get to.I arrived on a sunny Sunday afternoon looking for a bite to eat. I decided to go with one of their birria tacos, and one of their fish tacos, an order of carne asada fries, all paired with their jamaica (hibiscus) drink.Between the two, I'd have to say the birria was definitely my favorite. The flavorful slow-cooked meat paired with melted cheese and the side of broth was absolutely to die for. I savored every bite of this taco, and this'll definitely be a go-to item for me in the future. Their fish taco provided a refreshing compliment to the rich birria taco, as the light fresh flavor of the fish paired perfectly with the cabbage and sauce on top. The carne asada fries were a little on the drier side; however, still proved flavorful and an enjoyable meal overall. I will mention that their tacos are definitely on the pricier side (at least in my opinion, but I've also been spoiled with the beautiful of low-priced tacos in southern California, so my benchmark may be a bit skewed). The jamaica drink was light, cool, slightly sweetened, and very refreshing for the warm Sunday afternoon. I've always been a fan of jamaica tea and drinks after my trips to Nicaragua, and the beverage offered by Netillo's Takos definitely took me back to those days. For those who have never tried hibiscus before, it has a tart, almost cranberry-like flavor - if that sounds like it'll be your cup of tea, then I'd highly recommend giving it a sip!If you're looking for some delicious authentic Mexican food in the Sacramento area (which in my opinion can be a challenge to find), Netillo's Takos is the restaurant for you!

I could honestly go without this place. The food is not so bad but the customer service could use a touch up.

Mariachi burrito is the best. Beacon wrapped goodness in every bite. Staff is informative and helpful. Clean salsa bar.

I came across Netillo's while in the area and couldn't wait to check it out after reading other reviews. I've had two experiences with the restaurant thus far and I'm not sure how to feel. Let me say that both times were ordered through DoorDash. The first time that I tried the restaurant, I ordered 3 crispy carnitas tacos and a side of rice. I can not rave enough about this first experience with Netillo's! The meat was flavorful, the taco shells were crispy, and there was plenty of lettuce, tomato, and cheese included. The rice was flavorful and really good. I could not wait to eat there again and spread the word to family and friends. A week later, I was with a family member who lives in the Elk Grove area and I recommended that we order lunch from there she had yet to try it. I shared my experience with her, and we both ordered crispy carnitas tacos, while I also ordered I side of rice again. To my disappointment, this time was completely different. The meat hardly had any flavor at all and was super bland. The taco shells were completely soggy and falling apart to were they would not even remain in tact, and the rice had absolutely no flavor as well. Neither of us were happy and so I'm not sure if I will be giving them one more chance to see if maybe it was just an off day, or if I should stick with Roberta's in my area.

My family and I used to stop here all the time and the food no longer tasted the same, so we no longer wanted it. I happened to stop at Walmart & noticed that one of the original cooks from 2-3 years ago happened to be back and I knew he would make the food amazing! Glad to see the comeback with him there and the customer service of his is amazing !!!! My family and I will definetly be returning more often now!!

Our go to for taco Tuesday. We order the asada and adobada. The rice and beans are really yummy too. The beans have a little spice but not too much for the kiddos. Always great service!

This is a cute taco place with a good deal on Taco Tuesday - 5 tacos for $5. The staff is always friendly and seem to be in a good mood. There are only a few people working usually, so they are working hard as well. They have nice bright decor but it's smaller inside than you might think. There are only a few tables and some bar seating. There is a small sauce cart inside with fresh lime and sauces. The green salsa is my favorite but the chipotle was too overpowering for me and I found the avocado sauce a bit sour. I have tried almost all of their tacos, but my favorite taco by far is their crispy chicken taco. Just a note: I immediately got sick after my first time trying Netillo's and so did the person I ate with. Both of our tacos' came back up about 20 minutes after eating. However, I gave them another chance and had no issues so I hope it was just a fluke. This is also the reason I try not to write a review after one visit to a location because anyone can have a bad day.
