Horrible company. Raised the price almost double after loading the truck. Many items arrived damaged if they arrived at all. Still realizing losses years later. Held our property for ransom. 5k pool table was stored in water and arrived moldy. Bed parts missing. Large pic frames broken. Seemed like what ever I asked them to be careful with ended up broken, gauged or missing. They screamed at us when we called to discuss issues. Told us they would give us xx amount of money (about 1% of our loss) if we wouldn't write a bad review. Probably can go down as one of the worst experiences of my life.

Do yourself a favor before giving this company your hard earned money... write yourself a quote on a sheet of paper, now multiply that by 3, take all your boxes and roll them off the back of your truck while driving down the freeway, go back around to pick them up, then leave them sitting someplace for over a week. There, you just did the same thing they're going to do to your stuff, except you didn't have to pay that price you just multiplied up there so it's a win for you. Just run, don't book with this company. They owe a lot of people a LOT of money.

I Want everyone to be aware of this moving company. I also went by the first reviews and got ripped off. My daughter hired them to move from California to Utah. By the time she received her items, she was missing 40 boxes which she had to replace herself. On top of that she was required to pay more then she was told originally. The company wouldn't back her up with the insurance they had. We found out that the items were moved off the truck 3 different times after we were told that they would not be off loaded. So please think twice before hiring them to move your items

Move from California to Texas. Stored in Calif moved to Texas storage, then delivered. Missing jewelry, air tools, compressor, bottom of recliner, carpet cleaner, many hand tools. Much broken glass on many high end pictures, small frig, broken legs on floor chest, and much more. Unresponsive to letters detailing loss. No documentation in and out of storage. Please don't take the risk.

The actual cost of the move was higher than the estimate by 25%. My items showed up in a timely manner but both "movers" who had arrived to help unload the truck confided that they needed extra money for rent and had never done this before. One admitted he was a waiter. My boxes were handled pretty roughly. My washer and dryer still in working order look like they made the move in a cement mixer. Banged up and caved in. my custom mirror to my dresser is completely cracked, several porcelain carousel horses that are part of a collection were broken as was an antique cookie jar and several mementos that weren't worth much in $$ but can't be replaced were also destroyed. I have (had) a sleep number bed that was in great condition until it arrived and is now a piece of junk since the chambers will not hold air. (not a cheap fix!) my upholstered ottoman to my glider rocker was completely soaked (?). I've had a small cube Coca-Cola refrigerator since 1987 that now has a broken handle. not to mention I have a white wicker chair that somehow didn't make it. I have taken pictures and kept all the pieces as the company told me to keep a tally as they had insurance. Feeling pretty downhearted at the moment and will not be recommending Grizzly Van Lines to anyone at this point...but do check back as I will update this post as soon as i deal with the insurance company. In the meantime beware of low quotes. The prices are likely to go up and...you might have a waiter loading/unloading the furniture : ( REVIEW AFTER ALMOST 1 Year} Settle offered for MANY damaged/broken items was extremely low but I accepted to be done with them and the mountains of paperwork and pictures...Still waiting...every time I try and call Grizzly Van Lines all phones have a full VM. Daughter is moving out from the PacNW and renting her own trucK! What a scam this com[any is!!!

This is the worst moving company I have ever used They steal bicycles umbrellas and whatever the hell they want Deliver with scab drivers who dont care if the box shows fragile They broke mostly every breakable item they delivered I would never use them and suggest if you must take your precious items yourselves. Liars and thieves are most used words when dealing with them Awful experience. I feel like I have been robbed.

HORRENDOUS. They will break your heart when you see how they ruin all your valuable things. By far the worst experience I have had with any vendor for any reason in my life. David Mendez, the relocation consultant verbally promised many things including the competitive price, the great care they would take of our treasured grandfather clock and high end furniture, and the excellent storage they offered while we awaited a confirmed address. The big difference he said was that Grizzly uses only movers that are full-time employees. I felt comfortable twitch the "pitch" Price: to help keep the price down, we boxed carefully most things (except the expensive furniture) and meticulously took pictures and an inventory of every single item to insure an adjusted quote prior to the move. Agreed and then the movers came and the lead person wanted to charge 4 times as much. I was furious and stopped the move in the middle. My regret is that I negated with David on the phone and agreed to a new price not as high as they wanted but one that would get me out of the dilemma of trying to rent a truck myself at the last moment. Great Care: NOT. The movers built a crate for the grandfather clock and then to our horror rolled the clock face down on the floor to box it. We don't know what else happened to it but it is damaged and cracked - appears it was tossed around or maybe shipped upside down. - who knows. Excellent Storage: I'm not sure where my furniture was for the months before we moved in to our home in Phoenix, but furniture specialists tell us the damage to several high quality pieces was from heat and likely items being placed on top of them. Finished on several pieces look like sandpaper. Movers: On elf movers who delivered our furniture whom I asked said he was hired that morning off the street (in front of Home Depot). Sever damage to the grandfather clock, a Georgian mahogany cylinder desk, the Baker dining room table, designer blue upholstered lounge chair newly purchased from Gumps. (on leg missing, two broken off, Thomas "O'Brien chest of drawers, Regency chinoiserie side table, a marble pedestal from France - literally in thousands of pieces; and others. In total 11 items. The insurance paper I signed had "a formula" and did not actually offer the coverage I thought it did. An offer came for $300. Bottom line, stay away from this company. They damaged our beautiful furniture and broke our hears.

This is my second time of using Grizzly Van Lines. The movers are very nice, easy to work with and very efficient. The best thing is, their prices compared to others are very reasonable . I will highly recommend them to anyone who is moving long distance..

****BUYER BEWARE**** Like most people, if I could give a zero I would. To get my business they were responsive, but even that was overly responsive - borderline stockerish! They were good in squeezing me in last minute because I didn't like any moving company I had spoken with, but needed to pick one as my move out date was 4 days away. My red flag started on Saturday when I called to update my inventory and the office was suppose to be open until 2pm. I left a message and no one returned my call. I called Sunday (I don't know if they were open or not), but I was following up to confirm the inventory voicemail I left was received. No response. Sunday was moving day and 3pm (my scheduled time came around) at no word. At 3:30pm I got a call from Carlos with the moving company who stated they were behind schedule and will have to move my time back to 5-7pm. At 7:20pm ish I had to call them and ask where they were and they advise they were still at least hour to 2 hours away. Carlos, advise if we could do it at 7am Monday morning. I agreed. He called moments later to say they would need to do it between 2-3pm on Monday. Confirming that was the earliest they can do I was put into a situation that I had to take it. However, again Carlos called me stating that they would have to move tonight or tomorrow evening after 6pm. The 2nd option did not work because I was handing over the keys at 5pm on Monday. Therefore, I had to now take the option, which was scheduled for 9:30pm Sunday night (a ridiculous hour). Once they arrived, I had 27 items to be picked up (less than my inventory of 40) and they noted it was going to be $1,100 more than my original quote. Again, they were ridiculously late and wanted to charge more for less items. Grizzle Van Lines is a joke on service and results. Also, David was my "contact" for this transaction and I hadn't spoken to him once!As of Tuesday afternoon, Grizzle Van Line has made no effort to return my calls or respond to my email after the horrible incident Sunday! I will continue to write everywhere I can about this horrible company. If they can treat 1 customer like this (no regard for their situation) then they will do it again and I don't want this cycle of bad business to continue.

The crew did an outstanding job on our recent move. We loved the fact that they are the same crew who packed all our household goods and delivered them. They were all professional and our move in and out process was very smooth. They took great care in making sure all our goods were delivered in good condition. Not one single item was damaged or missing.

Had them help me move from California to Washington. The initial estimate was 2500$. After packing everything up, 3500$. We arrived in WA, sent them our address, and two weeks later, we get an email that says our 30 days free storage is up and they're charging us. So we sent another email to another person working there (with proof of the first email). Finally, another week later, I am told that sunday the driver will be in Washington and to be available. So from Sunday to Wednesday, I waited, at the house, for my things to arrive. Called them today, 05/26/16, to find out that the driver either couldn't find the house or who knows what, And has left my entire house at some storage facility (which won't be disclosed to me until I pay), tacked on 250$ for storage and driven his ass back to CA. Called them to tell them to drop it off, and they're now charging me another 1000$ to send someone else up to WA to take it to my house. So now I have to go rent my own truck to bring all the stuff to my house. Thanks Grizzly Van Lines. You've really proven that if you want something done right, either do it yourself, or pick a different delivery service.

If I could post 0 starts it would be more appropriate! Stay far away from this company. Not only did the move cost over twice what was quoted, they had zero flexibility, horrible communication, poor service, and the boxes looked like they played kick ball with every one of them...zero regard for our belongings. We had major damage on three items we submitted for insurance...the rest of the broken and damaged items were just tossed. I can't tell you how many items were shattered despite strong packing. Nearly all the boxes were crushed...we opened each one expecting the worst and our expectations were met on most cartons. The delivery drivers wanted money orders from USPS ONLY. I had gotten wal-mart money orders but this wasn't good enough for them. After finally cashing these they agreed to unload. Their body odor was almost unbearable. They also complained every time they had to take something up a flight of stairs. I've relocated 17 times in my career and this one was BY FAR the worst experience I've had. Horrible quoting process, poor transport, horrible unload, and not worth the value for the cost.
