Used to go to any H and R but since I hired a licensed tax accountant I noticed this kind of tax company doesn't give you all the options for deductions so you get a lot less refund and they charge a lot of money to get your tax done . My daughter started the process with this company - the lady sounded rude and a bit shady . So they left and my daughter and her husband just did their own taxes in turbo - they are actually getting a lot more ko eh and Hand R block said they are - so I don't recommend this people it seemed they favored r the go cement more that their own client . They don't even deserve any rating

H&R Block is incompetent and negligent. When completing my 2020 tax return, they failed to tell me I needed to prepay taxes during 2021. Then, they added penalties into my 2021 return without telling me. The IRS caught their negligence, and issued a partial refund of the penalty. Were it not for a partial refund from the IRS, I would have never known about H&R's error. I contacted H&R for a refund of the preparation fee for 2020 and 2021 tax papers, and was ignored. I wrote a letter to the CEO (Jeff Jones) and never received a response. I am contemplating legal action.
