Don't cash in your lottery scratchers here. I'm out $20 because the cashier refused to acknowledge my ticket was worth $20 after he cashed it (I was also cashing my F5 free replays) . Now, the store is going to be ahead $20. Just sad.

I went into Laguna Mart & Liquor on Friday March 6th to purchase a soda. I saw in the cooler that they had Pepsi's for $ 0.99 so I took two out of the cooler. The cashier rang them up and the total came up to $4.79. I showed him that the sign stated that it was 99 cent and there were actually three columns and all labeled 99 cent. He stated that they were in the wrong place and refused to sell it to me for the price that was listed. I feel like it was a bait and switch. This was not great customer service and I know that I will never patronize their business again even if it means going out of my way. I wish I could post with zero stars, since I can't they only deserve one.

I used to live in Del Palo Heights, where I had no shame walking into any given liquor store and buying the most degenerate of alcoholic beverages(i.e. 4lokos, steel reserve), at any day of the week. For some reason, I feel shame and guilt buying cheap alcohol in Elk Grove. However, this Laguna Mart maintains a South Sac vibe, which puts my deplorable mind at ease. Plus, the OG who works there on Sunday nights, doesn't charge for the bag!

Used to love going here for lotto, until today. I knew the ownership changed, and the new people there aren't half as welcoming. Today I went there to buy lotto. Not too many other customers, I filled in my numbers and the cashier (grumpy older man) couldn't get my ticket to read. He asked me to fill out another one, I did. Still wouldn't read. So by now there are maybe three customers behind me, all were completely understanding, when the third sheet wouldn't read, he just said "sorry " and told me I should just get quick picks. I asked him to just input my numbers manually ( I had three lines, and two quick picks) he told me no, he didn't have time to do that. Everyone behind me was just as surprised as I was that he wouldn't help me. I took my business elsewhere. Oh.....I forgot to mention that he was bitching to another customer while I was re-filling my ticket about how he's losing money in beer and cigarettes sales because he gets more money in those than the percentage he makes selling lottery. What a j**** Never going here again, he doesn't deserve loyal customers.

First! Solid liquor store where you are not the boss, but you can get the beverages, booze, cigs, lotto, and gum your heart desires. Bait is available for your angling needs as well. Prices are not bad.
