The dreaded "service engine" light came on. Reluctantly, I took my precious Chevy Volt to Maita Chevrolet. Not only were they able to get my baby completely taken care of, but Cruz made the experience enjoyable! She was delightful to talk to, and went above and beyond to make sure my repairs were covered by my warranty. By the end of the experience, I was almost sad that it was all over. I will be going back to get my oil changes there from here on out. Thank you, Cruz!

We went and traded in our Chevy avalanche for a newer Chevy, we were treated like royalty while we were there. We told them we wanted to finance through the golden 1 various times we still went back on Sunday to remind them to send the paper work through golden1. They did exactly what they wanted and put it through GM who had a higher rate! I was told Monday not to worry and didn't have to call back they would take care or everything!! We are so furious now the truck has been paid by GM. I will be contacting a Regional Manager. do not go to this dealer!!!

My wife and I went to Miata to look at a pre-owned Subaru Ascent on Oct 7, 2023. We were greeted by sales rep named Demonte (Day-mon-tay), who was exceptionally helpful and pleasant to interact with. We have nothing but applause for that young man. He was great. That's where the pleasantries end, though After we test drove the car, my wife and I decided to consider it further overnight since this particular vehicle's options were not our top picks, but a strong second. We returned to Maita on 10/8 in the morning to discuss buying the car we drove the day prior under the condition that we wanted to have our preferred auto shop do a pre-purchase inspection on the vehicle in Modesto. The finance person informed whose name escapes me, told us that our request could not be met. We could be allowed to take the vehicle to a local facility chaperoned by our sales rep for a pre-purchase inspection. We informed them that the folks at VW and Subaru around the corner were more than happy to make arrangements for us to have our Modesto shop look at a pre-owned vehicle for us. Moreover, the Subaru we bought prior came from a lot in Sacramento, where they allowed us to take the pre-owned car to Modesto for an inspection. Sacramento to Modesto is further than Elk Grove to Modesto, for the record. And you know what? We bought that car.Today, 10/10, Demonte called to see if I we were still interested in buying the Subaru we came to see. I had zero hesitation telling him that because of his boss's rigid stance we bought our car else where. I told him "because your boss sucks and wouldn't allow us to have our shop examine the car, Maita lost the sale." Furthermore, we bought a car on 10/9 from another facility and I wouldn't so much as buy a wiper blade from Maita. Hey Maita, it's pretty comical that your neighboring car sellers (VW and Subaru) around the corner would allow a potential customer to have a used car they were interested in, examined by their favorite mechanic in a different city, and you won't. The joke's on you, because you lost the sale. You guys suck and we will NEVER buy anything from your facility.

Would have been 5 stars if they hadn’t given me the wrong 2nd fob. Had to spend 3 hours at my local Chevy dealership to discover the problem and then spend a whole extra day driving back up to Elk Grove to fix the problem.

Had issues with my 17Volt and was told the car would be ready on Tuesday. Got a call 4 days earlier that my car was ready. I love it when a biz under promises and over delivers

I appreciate the service. Negative situations have happened lately though. I've been using Maita since 2018.. Management takes care of their customers overall I do appreciate that. Timely updates are needed, and the customer shouldn't feel like a burden after paying for serviceServices: Air & cabin filter replacement

I had a transmission issue with my 2010 Chevy Malibu. Cruz was my service representative and was a true pleasure to work with, she kept me informed on the process along the way and called me back quickly if I left a message. I would definitely take my car back if I had to.

Dealer prices are always higher, but the moral integrity was never lower here. I brought my car in for an oil change even though the price is higher because I trusted that the Chevy dealer was the best choice for my Chevy. Placing trust in this dealership was my first mistake. After the oil change and regular inspection that's included, I was told that my rear brakes were wearing so unevenly that one side was practically "metal on metal" and that side was also out of specification. I'd never noticed any kind of braking issue and never heard a single squeak from this car. This was only the second oil change I've had done as I purchased it used and have put less than 10k miles on it. I know VERY little about cars, but I DO know that metal on metal= bad, but I also know that the left and right should be wearing some what evenly and that the discrepancy was concerning. Prior to even completing the purchase of this car I had it inspected at a local shop to make sure nothing was wrong. The amount of wear on the pads between what they noted and what Maita tried to tell me I was at given the miles would be...impressive. I took it for a second opinion and wouldn't you know, no metal on metal, no huge discrepancy in wear, and nothing out of specification. Did this place think it was probably time for me to consider replacing the brakes? Yes. Did they try to take advantage of me and rely on fear tactics to make me pay for a service I didn't really need because I'm a woman? No. I will give credit where credit is due and say that the Maita cashiers and the service advisor were very nice, but I no longer trust this dealership. Maita may have been around a long time, but if these are the kind of dishonest technicians they employ I won't be bringing my car back here for any reason and I definitely won't be coming here when it's time to upgrade this to a Suburban. Also, before you respond with some type of "let's make this right!" kind of post to save face. My immediate response is: No. Employee integrity should never be questioned. If you have honest employees who DO the right thing from the beginning, you'll never have to "make it right" later.

Cruz, the service adviser, was great. However, the rest of the process wasn't so great. They did the "diagnoses" and said the cam position sensor was bad. They didn't have any stock. Took almost a week to get one. Turns out in the end they put the old one back in because it wasn't bad. No one apparently knew how to actually test it would be my guess. Then they said it was the ECM. They had to order that as well. More waiting time. Once the ECM was put in, it was supposed to be test driven. Took almost all day to accomplish that minor task. Ultimately the service manager had to do it.When I finally came back to get my truck, it was filthy! It was clean when I took it in. Never had a dealer return a vehicle that dirty before. Also, the ECM they put in, which was under warranty, was a REFURBISHED module. (a "repaired" piece of someone else's problem). That didn't make me happy but I just wanted my truck back. It was in there for about 10 days.
