I work in retail, so I'm familiar with appointment systems. However their appointment system doesn't have a prioritization queue based off wait time, be it personal check ins or automatic calling. an appointment that walks in 1 minute prior will make you get skipped if you have a 45+ minute wait. I was booted out at 4:57 when the closing is at 5, I get that I was considered a last minute customer however policy is policy when it comes to corporate or listing hours. Overhearing an employee tell an irate patient that they will take appointments that are set for 5 also will set bad expectations for patients that are walk ins, since by rule it isn't what is being followed. It isn't the employees that are at fault, however the management handling is poor and lacks communication and setting expectations with customers. I won't visit this location again, and won't go with quest for any lab work in the future due to this experience.

It’s twice now that I go to this location and I have a really bad experience. Last time I had an appointment waited almost an hour to be called because they kept putting my paper at the bottom. Today I had an appointment at 10 i checked in 10 mins before, so the lobby was super full so I took the option of waiting in my car. I then received a text 45 mins later saying to go in and sit someone would call me, I went sat and waited more time the lobby was almost empty so at 11:20 I got up and looked for someone, this guy said he was gonna check for my name but they were running late so I went back to sit waited for him he never came, I hen asked a different person this lady said the same only I told her it was about to be 2 hrs me waiting and she said that the 10 oclock appointments had passed so i said then what happened to my appointment if i have been waiting since 10 she said she was gonna check. by 12 everyone had gone and the lady came back and told me to register again and they would take me, so this other lady came to take me and as she got my doctors paper she said there was not enough info of the time I have pregnant and that I had to tell my doctors so those 2 hrs were a waste. I went fasting had not eaten and had a huge headache and I bet they just didn’t draw my blood since it was lunch time for them not so much that my paper didn’t have enough info because I have been there with exact same papers to get blood drawn and they have done it.I got out and bursted out crying of anger. Really hate this place has no one above to speak to someone to complain to a customer service, anything to help out.

Mixed review. The scheduling and checkin processes are easy, its all done online and via text message. When you arrive you are able to checkin on your phone or on like an ipad when you go in. Yhe last 3 times I went, I had to wait only a couple of minutes! The people are very nice and unfortunately they have no office staff! They have to enter test results, look up lab requests and send the results thru! Not at all time effective! They need office staff!! I took my last labs, last week of December and the doctor cannot find them! (GET A CLERICAL POSITION BACK IN THE OFFICE! YOUR TECHS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO THAT PART!! )

My results are still pending. I could have gone anywhere else or bought my own test for same day results. Still pending at 6 days.

Love that they actually have someone in the waiting room to help those who don’t know how to touch the kiosk machine. And making sure, everyone gets checked in correctly.

Read a lot of bad reviews. But the electronic check in was super easy. Do be aware you won't be able to scan in your electronic insurance cards, but they will enter it in for you when you go back. I was called back at the exact time of my apointment. And she was very helpful and friendly despite the palce being busy.

I’ve visited this location twice now. My first experience was wonderful. The location is clean and there’s now wait time when booking an appointment. The phlebotomist I saw at my first visit was kind, informative, and professional. My second visit was an actual nightmare. This had nothing to do with the location itself. I want to stress it was very clean and I was seen at my appointment time.HOWEVER, the phlebotomist I saw was by far the worst medical ‘professional’ I’ve ever experienced in my life. She was immediately rude and made me feel judged for coming to my appointment with my child. I was there for a specific, time sensitive test so I asked to verify that I was PAYING for the correct test. She told me that she could not give me the information and that even if she could she would not be able to change the test if it was incorrect. I again asked if she could verify the test so that if it was wrong my Doctor could order the correct one. She again refused and asked me ‘if I wanted the test or not’. Again the test was time sensitive so I just agreed and would deal with it later if it was incorrect. She then asked for insurance cards, I told her I have Kaiser so would be cash paying. She still asked to see the insurance information. Once she believed me, she took my debit card to pay for the test, printed the receipt for me to sign and I was able to see my test information on that, so very confused as to why she said I’m not aloud to have that info. After the blood draw I asked how long results typically take so that I knew what to expect and she just told me that they don’t test at their facility and that I would not be able to see my results anyways, as I was not a Doctor. Again, very weird considering after my last visit the phlebotomist gave me all of this information and how to check for my results. As I was gathering my belongings to leave she made a remark relating to the test I was there for, which I’m not comfortable sharing here. I hope that she was just having a bad day and that she never treats anyone else the way I was treated that day.

Check in system is not user friendly. Staff gives attitude when asked for help. Wait times (even when we had an appointment) are terrible. Use a different location.

The shift to kiosks to sign/check in doesn't do the job. People with appointments have to wait longer than anticipated or have their time slot completely erased, not being able to be put back on the list. Had to go here two different times due to this broken new software upgrade that is really a complete downgrade.

Can get busy, so even with an appointment, be patient. All phlebotomists are kind and do their best to get everyone in and out.

Unorganized and unprofessional. It’s obvious that they like to take longer than they should with patients so they can avoid walk ins and the busy lobby. I had an appointment but when pulled to the back the lady was scrolling through her emails for a good 10-15 minutes looking for nothing. All I need was a quick blood draw. No one at quest has customer service skills and act like they are to good for you. If a new lab with good customer service were to open in sacramento they would be out of business.

My husband had an appointment this Tuesday. He is an elderly. Moving slow with cane. He took time to get urine sample. The phlebotomist kept knocking on the door while he is having difficulty. She seemed having no understanding about sick elderly. Her tone of voice was rude very rude to my husband. When drawing blood, she doesn't really clean the site with alcohol. Then touch the site with dirty gloves. All staffs I saw were wearing gloves. And they keep them on all the time. Who knows what they touch and how long they are wearing same gloves. It's a crime to me because they could be dealing with sick weak persons. Dirty gloves can easily spread infection to to some. I wish if that phlebotomist at least has some correct skills to draw blood and professional manner. She didn't. And was very rude. Unbelievable.

Came here to get bloodwork done. It's best to make an appointment instead of walking in, there's a lot of people coming in and out so book ahead of time to skip the wait time. My appointment was scheduled for 12:30 PM and I came around 12:15 PM. You can check in at a kiosk or through your phone. They prioritize appointments before walk-ins, I noticed there were about 15 people on the stand-by list. There were only three other people ahead of me on the appointment list and those people were being called in relatively quick. I got called in at 12:25 PM. Very friendly employees. They direct you to one of the numbered rooms. I had a set of papers that my doctor had given me, which I handed off to the employee. Everything was speedy, you sign a consent form and they take your blood/urine -- that's it! She asked if I was feeling okay throughout the process, very hospitable. I was already back in my car at 12:33 PM. It doesn't take up much of your time unless you didn't book an appointment beforehand. I noticed a few people feeling frustrated that they weren't being called in, one person even walking out. Just make sure to book one before coming here! It'll help the overall experience.

Worst place to come. Very unorganized and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
