I love this branch of SAFE CU. They even know my wife and me by name. When we come in, it's always fast and personable service. They really make you deal at home while taking good care of all your banking needs.

Safe CU used to be great! That is why we have multiple accounts here for joint, personal and for the kids. Then their stupid upgrade that only wants to help those that also have multiple accounts BUT CAN NOT REMEMBER THEIR OWN STUPID ONLINE ID AND PASSWORD. So what did Safe do and even brag about? They said they did an upgrade and combined ALL accounts into one that the bills I pay from my personal account gets debited from my joint account that we use for our household bills. And they charge $6 if there is not enough to cover those bills in your checking to transfer funds from your savings. Nice...and I thought BofA is the only one who tries to weasel money out of customers from fees. Just to think using customers' money to invest and enrich themselves is not enough. And the fun part is, when I speak to multiple customer service agent and me getting frustrated about their "upgrade", all we agreed on is closing my account if I dont want this to continue happening. Closing my personal account and opening at another credit union or big bank I guess. Edit: Carole, if I show you a fee charged, are you going ti return it? Or are you going to make an excuse about it? And like I mentioned, I already spoke to multiple CS and they are never helpful and clueless...I am pretty sure you know, so dont act like you dont.

Wow, what a horrible location. I've never had so much trouble cashing checks at a bank. I've gone to the location on El Camino countless times and never had any trouble. Cashed at least 30+. We waited at the window for 35 minutes total and after hell and back finally got the check cashed. I understand the extra steps if you don't bank there take time, but this was absolutely ridiculous. They called a different branch of the bank. They called the writer of the check, and he was very upset to be bothered as no one else has any trouble cashing his checks. To make both of these phone calls worse, they didn't even let us know they had to make those calls and had us standing there wondering what was going on and taking so long. The whole experience was ridiculous, but we figured okay after this time it should be easier next time at this location... NOPE! We were just turned away yet again but this time asked to come back the next day. Whatever part of the branch they needed to call was already closed and the chick said she couldn't disclose why they had to call it. Like stated previously, I've never had any trouble before and I've had MANYYY checks cashed and for a lot more money at that. The bank account owner is now officially closing his account because of how ridiculous they've treated all of us. They're losing a really good customer with a lot of money, and he will be keeping his business at better, easier to work with banks.

The online app has had an update scheduled for a weekend. April 8-April 12 . It. Is now april22. I have had now access to my account. I have been calling to there help line . I have been put on hold over an hour and have been going in circles. I admit I’m not very computer savvy but isn’t this why there is a help line. I not happy and Iv been a customer over ten years. So I’m asking for help with on line app. Or just like everyone else has been doing , I’ll have to look for better service

I would give no stars if I could. This bank does not care about its customers. It does not explain processes they use to provide services. They do not take accountability for their lack of communication to the customer. They do not have the customer's back in situations that could have been averted with communication and explanation. My situation was not unique I'm sure and I didn't know which questions to ask and was not guided through a process that should not have occurred. I asked for a service that, in this time of fraud, should have triggered specific questions by the bank attendant. Instead I just sat and watched the bank attendant make a transaction that ultimately is not reversible and lost a lot of money. Never was it explained to me that the transaction was not reversible and not once did the bank attendant ask me questions regarding the transaction I requested.

So disgusted with your branch!! You put money in wrong account!! We were on the phone with the agent forever and they called your branch and instead of expediting or reaching out to us you said your closing and we had 15 minutes left for you to at least call!! My sons rent is going to be late and he’s at a university out of state!! Is this Great customer service?!! Horrible

Don't do business with them they don't want to give you important information regarding your account when you call and ignore you and hang up.Do business with someone else they are rude.

Ok to do regular banking, but not to do international transfer. Going to have to go to another bank and close account after being with then 10 years.
