VERY disappointed in the customer service department. Rude employees, her name is Len, who have no idea what they are doing. Employees are not trained properly and have lost my money and claim they cannot reverse it. Store manager is unprofessional and confused about her job.

This Walmart Hires the rudest employees. They lock everything up behind glass and are bothered if you need help getting something that's locked up. The lady at the door checking receipts gets upset that you don't want to let her hold your receipt. She thinks this is Sam's Club, and if you refuse she she proceeds to tell you how nice you are. Lmao

6/20/2023 This was my go to Walmart before moving.. Every now and then I'll stop in because it opens an hour before the other one that is closest to the house.. Unfortunately, I forgot my eye drops and decided to get them here. Early hours means less customers.. Didn't realize the make up section was locked down and in a case.. My hometown Walmart only has the real expensive items in locked cases..

Shared parking lot. Depending which exit you leave from, three lanes of traffic may stand between your car and the lane you need to be in. Relatively clean interior, though not as nice as the regular Walmart in the same plaza. Not busy in the afternoon on a weekday. The staff do not wear masks. One of the four self-checkouts was out of order. Huge pallets of packed inventory are clogging up some of the aisles. Very small clearance section with nothing notable.

Waited for an online pick up over 50mins! I left with no groceries, and requested a cancellation. Tried talking to manager and no luck, not available. Pick up team said they were behind with only 2 staff members. I was the third car parked, no reason to wait that long and still not get my groceries. Never again.

Poor service at customer service today! Long lines, uncaring staff, no support, told to go see if product stocked myself for an exchange, long wait times w no apology. Eeekks! Called for supervisor and when she arrived declined my request for service and walked away. Wow!

OK, so it's been a while since going into a Neighborhood Market, so this location is nice, clean with friendly and helpful staff.

Manager and customers For years now, this manager has allowed its employees to park in the front spaces right by the doors! See the green challenger? Ever wonder why there's no spaces by the doors? That is why. It's against Wal Mart policy and I have reported it to management but nothing happens. This time he said, "yah, I know. Ur the one who complains about us parking in front".

We went to the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Elk Grove. This store has mostly groceries. It has a very small section of medicines, clean products, pet products, and other goods. We came here on a whim one night. We were using the Tesla charging and there was nothing to do, so I just thought we just walk around in Walmart. The prices are cheaper than your Bel Air/Raley's, Nugget, or Safeway. They carry a lot of variety. We do our processed food (junk food) grocery shopping here from time to time. The produce doesn't look as fresh as it should be and I don't think I would buy fresh meat here, looks iffy. We usually do most of our shopping at a local Bel Air or Costco. If you compare what you pay here to the other higher end grocery. You do save some money. Prices are lower. I have noticed they don't carry a lot of healthier food items.

I went to Walmart to buy groceries yesterday. When I went for payments, I realized I was charged extra for a pizza. I went to store manager to get it corrected. He insisted that I am charged correctly inspite of me showing the receipt that one extra entry is present. I want to my car & used calculator to do the math & still it was showing that an extra pizza was charged . I want back to the manager & requested him to take a look at its again & do the manual calculation to prove my point that I am charged extra. He become irritated and said that he is not going to look into it & yelled at me to leave the store. I was shaken to my root with this type of treatment. I am a Walmart customer from more than a decade & was surprised that I was treated like this for asking a refund of extra charged money. They should treat people with respect

This is a pretty good size Walmart Neighborhood Market in Elk Grove. They have everything the supermarket has plus extra! The location of this store is convenient. It is right next to the freeway. Make it extremely easy for me to pick up a few items when I'm on the way home. Most of the meats and vegetables are fresh and the price is more reasonable than most of the supermarkets in the area. The parking lot is very big. But sometimes it is very busy and hard to find a parking space close to the entrance. I have to parking my car farther away from the store in most of the time when I'm here after work. I'm sure the parking lot will not be very busy if you're here before 4 pm or after 7 pm.

I'm basing this review off of the 3 years and 11 months I had worked for this place where do I start so upon being hired every this is smooth then as time progresses on it got worse and worse let me start by saying no I'll will towards any of the hard workers there but this place is the absolute worst I've been called a monkey I've been forced to work in negative degree temperatures for long periods of time with no equipment to properly do my job and or stay in that type of condition I've been told that if I left for bereavement I'd be fired and it was my close relative on life support they showed not an ounce of humanity but was willing to let a woman take a week for a dog I've been put down called lazy as well as made fun of for what I go trough on a daily basis now to get to the reason you shouldn't buy any produce from this store not only have i done it multiple people have done it I've taken rotted produce out of a bag and was told to put it on the floor to sell no rinse for the good product that was touching the mold I've seen and done countless times with meat as well the meat will be expired for days and it will be in the wall for sale still and they have had the tendency to swap tags so I'm saying all of that to say this stay away from produce at this Walmart stay away from meat at this Walmart they will sell you the worst of the worst and not care and finally don't ever and I mean ever work for this Walmart corrupted and very crooked and one last thing they will steal your paid time off multiple times my ppto was taken out of my account on days I didn't even work but I hope this review helps people and keeps people safe avinish is the definition of a piece of shit

I am reviewing the Neighborhood Market side. They don't have it listed separately yet they are separate stores. I went here with my wife when we stopped to charge our car. It is pretty big in here and I have never really shopped at a Walmart for groceries. I couldn't believe how low some of the prices are on items that we always buy. We normally shop at Costco, Belair , and Nugget. I guess you consider those high end in the supermarket side. The staff is really nice here and answered our questions when asked. There are so many different thing out now that were not when I was younger. We will be coming back here again. I am still not sure of buying meat here.
