This is a great league for kids. They are well organized and professional. The refs are amazing. Patient and kind and they take the time to explain to the kids about a call or how to line up on the free throw line. I've heard them compliment the kids on good sportsmanship. Good job WCB!

Was looking for an organized league for my nephew and this was it! I played when I was young and it is something you always remember! He's having a blast! Registration was easy and I love the fact families can come to the game free of charge. If you're looking for a solid league that's community based this is it!

BY FAAAAAAAAAARRRRR..... the most organized and well run league I've had our kids participate in. Their division is very competitive (7-8) with two ref's running each game. Everyone is very positive and very family friendly. Every coach that we've had has knowledge of the game so basics is established during practice. Entry is free to watch the games so no need to break the bank when u bring your family to watch the game. Wish I found this league sooner. Ohh and one of the coolest things is last season (Spring) the division finals were held at golden 1 center.

My 12 year old son has been playing basketball since he was 6 and has played in many different leagues. From Sacramento, Elk Grove, Galt, and AAU. He's played 2 seasons on West Coast and this has been our favorite league out of all the others. The organizers keep this league in order and keep the games fun. Everything from coaching, practices, games, playoffs, refs, and even off season practices/clinics has been amazing. All aspects of this league that I've seen has been 100% professional and organized. I've never experienced any uncomfortable games, "crazy parents" and I've always been impressed with this program. If your kid is interested in playing, regardless of skill level, definitely start here. You won't regret it.

This is our child's first experience playing at WCBA, and it has been a great experience. The league is very well run, organized, and communicates often with the families. When we first inquired about the season coming back from the pandemic, the admin person got back to us quickly and kept us informed with quick responses. Our coach is amazing, the games are fun to watch, being in a positive environment. Our family can see that the personnel really care about the kids and their experiences in their league.

March 2020 - We are pleased to share that after the second season, we have seen tremendous improvements, dedication and commitment from this league and leadership team, particularly William and Eric. We truly appreciate William's impartial approach, willingness to listen, dedication to improvements, as well as commitment to giving back to the community. The entire league staff, including th referees, are more professional and positive. It's apparent that a lot of effort has been put in from the leadership team to better organize, structure and manage the league. We also like and appreciate the current established mission and shared values. We will continue to be part of the league and have recruited other families to join as well. Thank you William and your team for all your efforts, dedication, and commitment. We look forward to many more great seasons! Nov 2019 - We were extremely disappointed to find out how biased and unprofessional some of the referee and staff/owners are within WCBA. Particularly the rude tall referee that officiated the semi-finals games, as well as staff members/owners Kimberly and Hami. They were either too naive to believe unsubstantiated and unwarranted gossip, or they intentionally made up lies and tried to intimidate and threaten to kick parents out from the opposing team of Kimberly son's team during the semi-finals game. Their actions were unnecessary, dishonorable, and unacceptable. They created a hostile environment and negative experience for the players, parents and coaches of the opposing team on the last day of the league. We really thought we have found a great league until this incident. We will have to re-evaluate if it's still worth staying in this league as we are not sure of the staff's moral and ethical values.

Great organization! Every game has started on time, have had no issues with referees and it seems like they truly do care about the kids.

My son joined the WCBA and we are very happy with this organization. For a new organization they are very organized compared to other basketball leagues my son had played for. The referees are trained and professional. The coaches from what I have been told are all vetted to ensure they uphold the WCBA standard. The WCBA promotes not only player development but also a sense of community and giving back to the community. This is not a money making focus organization. I would recommend the WCBA to anyone who wants their child to play in a league that promotes their development and also encourages good sportsmanship and player attitude.

My son is newer to playing BBall and this league does not disappoint. I feel that the teams are well balanced and my son is learning many new things! Practices are once a week with the opportunity for additional playing time on Sundays. I really, really appreciate how positive Will Chan has been with the kids, his passion for the sport and for proper coaching truly shows. The parents of the team are super nice as well, helping the kids with tips. I did see a coach last week berate and yell a lot at his team. I don't believe in negative coaching so I would suggest that perhaps the league provide some mentoring of their coaches if that is what they value. Great experience so far, looking forward to staying as long as we can.

I've never reviewed a league but what I see really impressed me. Games and practices start on time. Ref's and coaches work with integrity and are very respectful. Love the logo! They stay active in the community and help with developing skills of players. Uniforms are top notch. Lady running the snack store is very nice and polite. This is the first year of basketball for my kid who is in 4th grade. He is loving it! This is their first year and season in operation and I think this league is off to a great start. With the leadership team in place, I expect it to get better and better.

If you want to join a recreational league that cares about the product they put out, as well as it's participants, this is the place to do it. WCBA is deeply tied to the communities it serves and has the people in place to provide an outstanding experience for players, parents and everyone else involved. Eric, Will and company have put a lot of time and energy into providing an experience that is unmatched. Their customer service is outstanding. Clinics are provided through their partners, City LYFE Basketball. There are so many other options at your disposal when you join the WCBA family as they've partnered with other businesses in the community. These guys care....but not just about basketball, they care about the communities they serve. So, sign your kids up and become part of the family!
