Cherry Island Golf Course is a challenging and fun golf course that is well-maintained and beautiful. The long fairways and lots of hazards make it a pretty tough course, especially for beginners. The ground crew is thoughtful while continuing to improve the facility. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful, with customer service consistently very good. The course handles large events well. While pace of play can sometimes be slow, the overall experience is delightful. The burgers and fries at the 19th hole are sure worth hanging out. Many players love this place and return after their first visit, enjoying it even more as they get to know the course.
It was good. I wished the Marshall would've told the group ahead of us to speed up their pace of play. I think they were trying to qualify for there pro card!!! NOT!!! 5 hours and 15 minutes is to long for that course.

Fun course. It definitely has rough areas of missing grass, ball washers and other miscellaneous under maintained spaces
