This CVS pharmacy never has any medicine ? in stock??!! This location always has to order my medicine ? which takes 48-72 hours(business days), and then it spends another 2-3 days sitting in a box waiting to be unpacked! They are short staffed m, thus and that. Excuses, excuses.
So I'm changing to Walgreens Pharmacy!

Three employees working and only one person helping people, when the line has 10 people waiting. Also claiming to have filler prescriptions only to have people come, and then tell them they don’t have it ready, or the stuff in stock.

30 minute wait in line or LONGER for prescription with shortened hours. Customer service is great, but staff is non existent. Only 1 rep most days for 600-800 customers a day??

You know what would be great? If they answered their phone during business hours. I have a simple question that is not addressed by the completely useless automated system and I can't get through on the phone. So now I have to go down there in person on my bike, in the rain, when I'm sick. The service at this pharmacy is deplorable, even by CVS standards.

I don’t understand why but every time I go here there is always a huge line. I’m currently standing in line right now with only one person in front and it has taken over 10 mins. They are constantly understaffed. Do yourself a favor and use the pharmacy at Safeway down the street. They are much more quick and efficient there.

You can’t schedule a Covid vaccine online or by phone at this location. The website and says they do walk in only. I called the pharmacy ahead of time to see if it’s available and if they’re available for walk-ins. You can’t reach anyone by phone but the automated system says they have it and to just walk in. I tried to get the vaccine. They said they don’t have it and offered to schedule an appointment. I’ll just go to my PCP. I was able to schedule an appointment last year at the Target in Alameda online without any issues. I don’t know why this year is difficult. ? I wish I was able to schedule it online like last year.

Needed medication immediately for an emergency and ran from work to make the 6:30 closing time. Arrived at 6:10 and it was closed lol. Very cool.Edit: The staff are very kind though! They have been patient with me through a lot. I feel like my issue is with management / whoever gives the okay to close so early or is responsible for short staffing.
