I've used them for my customers vehicles for about 10 years, I've always had great customer service and on the very rare chance I have an issue they are quick to get it resolved!

Buyer beware. Engine World is a joke. They rebuilt my engine but refuse to honor their warranty. This company only cares about making a buck. I'm taking them to small claims court. Please read other Google and Yelp reviews before deciding to use this dishonest company. Note the Better Business Bureau rating is only a B minus. THIS SHOULD BE ENOUGH WARNING. Also read the last 10 Google reviews.... 8 of the last 10 postings only award 1 star....that is terrible.Update - I won the small claims court judgement!! The judge told Chaz, the unscrupulous manager at Engine World to "give the customer what he paid for". Yeah the court system does work.

Sent us a blown motor, ended up costing more than it would have to completely rebuild the motor twice. They refused to honor their "warranty"

DO NOT do business with this place. They are HORRIBLE with customer service.I called and explained that I purchased a vehicle and I believe the engine was replaced with their company. So I asked if there was a way to get records by VIN for the vehicle on which the "owner" said no only by customer name.I said " oh man, yall should keep records by VIN" and then he proceeded to verbally assault me calling me all sorts of names and demeaning me. Absolutely uncalled for behavior from the so called owner of this business.Never give these people a dime.

BUYER BEWARE !! My 2005 Subaru baja turbo is ruined and I am out $8,000. Driven less than 700 miles: blown head gasket, warped heads and burnt up turbo !!!! Refused to send another engine, when they finally answered the phone !!! The name should be changed to EngineWrecks ! Reported them to the BBB(Better Business Bureau). Funny thing, ... they are not members of the BBB. April 10, 2023... update : The bad engine was purchased by my mechanic. I called him today. The invoice number is : 113839. The engine number is : SU-E-EJ-25-D. If you want to make it right, send a another engine to Max's Garage in Lakeview, Oregon where the the lifeless body of my little blue Subaru sits.

I am over in the Puget Sound temporarily, and my car is at a repair shop in Shoreline. My car was towed to the shop 11/9/2022. Today is 1/12/2023. Already the second engine from Engine World of California is being sent back. My service manager said Engine World will have to cover the cost of labor this time. Neither I nor my mechanics can absorb the costs of installing and removing two bad engines from Engine World. Don't they bench test them before they ship them out? If the third engine is good, I will update this review. However, I have been without my car for two months ......

DO NOT buy your engine from here!!! please do not buy your engine from here . i bought a rebuilt engine in dec of 2021 and it blew out over the weekend as soon as the warranty expired . It Was only good for one year and multiple mechanics stated that usually this happens within 20 to 40,000 miles if the engine is not good. ENGINE WORLD said there's nothing they can do and they are trying to get me to buy another one (crazy ) . IVE taken my car to several other mechanics which i have proof of and nothing else is wrong with my car, they sold me a bad engine . horrible horrible place please save your money and go somewhere else!!!

Bought an H6 for my wife's 2006 Subaru and the engine is running smooth. When we opened it up before install everything appeared in good shape and what was in there RE fluids was fine too. Options for buying an H6 from other sources was limited and so I was glad I chose Engine World. Most other sources had mixed reviews because of the nature of the business, in used automotive parts, and since Engine World was similar in terms of reviews or even a bit better I chose them. Also I appreciated the longer time operating under their business name and location since some parts suppliers have a much shorter history and that concerned me that they may be shutting down as one business entity and opening as another as some unrepeatable business operators do. If it helps FYI, I tend to check how far back reviews go, how long a domain name has been registered and look at google street views/satellite to see the actual location along with BBB complaints etc... So for me I'd call it a 5 star experience and hope it goes well for others too.

Avoid. They do not honor their warranty on used engines. Read the reviews. They rob people of their money.
