ZERO Stars for this store in Emeryville. The app shows they have a product in stock here when I go there after 40 min drive for them to tell me it is not in stock . Employe's just don’t want to do the extra work to go in the back and look for it .. Ulta and Macys got better customer service ..

Returned foundation here. The cashier was very kind and informative. She let me know it’s best to try different brands because sometimes brands will not have a good match for you.

I have never rated this store, because I personally like it, but yesterday, March 29, an “employee” treated me poorly. I was in the Hourglass area, and I was looking for a lipstick, I already had too much paint on my hand so it was easy for me to turn around and grab a pad to clean my hand, I didn't even realize that it was a private STAND, in the speed that I did it, I just looked at someone sitting and said: Excuse me, and I took the pad, to which the “employee” quickly arrived and told me with a bad tone and a bit of a face…. that she didn't bring me there, that I left there, I was shocked and went for assistance because I still couldn't find the lipstick, in the end I made my purchases ?️. Every time I go they treat me very well, they are helpful, and friendly even though it is always saturated with people. But yesterday the deal was horrible and just for taking a pad, if they sell them I PAY.

I usually shop online as I get overwhelmed shopping inside, but this time i just needed a few things right away before a trip. I came in, and started looking (mind you I came from work and had my work jacket on which is baggy since I am 4’10) and after a few mins, I kept security everywhere I went. I was lost and looking for an item i couldn’t find since like I said i don’t usually go inside i shop online, and nobody came to help me. Everybody just kept looking at me, especially the old security guard. Eventually I get uncomfortable and just check out, made sure my products were in sight and my hands out of my pocket even though i was very overwhelmed.The security guard even followed me all the way through the cashier.. and then had the audacity to passively aggressive say “Bye Thanks for coming in” lol … I was in full Company Brand outfit , just came from work. My makeup was a mess, and I had baggy clothes - so if you think of coming in to the store like that just think again. you will get followed around.

Employees here are nice and professional, but the store almost never has anywhere near the amount of product it should! SO many testers missing, whole sections of products not in stock while the store itself is packed. I went to buy Fenty lipglosses, and they didn't have half of them in stock, while other stores I've been to do. Really feels like the fault of Sephora Corporate for not allocating product to this store despite it being a popular location.

I had an amazing customer service experience with autry you were so sweet and so accommodating I had got everything I needed a more. My samples were catered to me as well. I can’t stress again how amazing the customer service was and how welcomed I felt this is my favorite location to shop at because of you. Thanks so much for going above and beyond.

I come to this store because the smaller ones (typically inside khols) do not carry the facial products I use. This sephora will always have what I need.

This review is solely for staff member, Andrea. She was extremely helpful in my search for the perfect, my lips but better lipstick. I was walking around the store swatching multiple lipsticks to try and match my beloved and discontinued Too Faced La Creme lipstick in Spice Spice Baby. I probably swatched about 15 lipsticks before she kindly asked if I needed help with anything. She was so thorough and motivated to help me find a true match. We went all over the store and probably swatched another 15 lipsticks until we found a damn near perfect match, MUF Rouge Artist Shine in 182 Jolly Blush. I just wanted to give her credit and show some appreciation! Thank you, Andrea!

I visited this store to purchase makeup for the very first time in my life. Max was incredibly helpful as I tried to get a hang of the plethora of products and brands, and made recommendations for each. He listened patiently to all my requirements and answered all of my makeup newbie questions with clarity. He even added the items that we decided on to my online shopping list so I would have it handy when I got home. Overall, I had a far less overwhelming experience shopping for makeup than I would have otherwise. Super grateful for all your help, Max!!
