My brother and I actually went to this school in the mid 80s. 2nd and 3rd grade. My Teachers name was Mrs Strand. I remember going on field trips to Borrial Ridge ski resort on class trips. I think kindergarten thru 7th grade was all in one class!!

Beautiful scenery all around and super cozy home. Definitely recommend the Donner tunnel hike and checking out the nearby lakes and waterfalls!

Place was legitness, all kinda stuff around to do if you’re one of them outdoorsy type foo’s. Close to the freeway so you can call them skeezers a quick Uber gombsayin. The gas station up the road has them big bags of Saladitos chips, if you a piiig you know those is hard to find! Other that that it’s close to some ski resort. And if you don’t like the place then just BYP and all will be well!

This place reminds me of what Willy Wonkas casting couch might look like. It’s fun and there’s tons of outdoorsy stuff to do. The peacocks were cool too.

Excellent choice for accommodation near tons of outdoor activities. Located 10-15 minutes from several different rivers, lakes, hiking trails and water falls. There is also a private restaurant about a quarter mile down the road called the rustic table with fine local cuisines (squirrel stu with dumplings is to die for)

This place is fun ane quite. Almost missed the peacocks, but saw them later at the restruant down the street. Parking is upstairs which kinda sucks, but the nearby waterfalls trade-off makes everything cool.

Super fun place. The peacocks seem to have relocated, and the waterfalls were a little chilly for this time of year, but still had an awesome time.

Love, love, love This beautiful school house and surrounding area! So many lakes, waterfalls, hiking trails, and natural beauty! The high ceilings inside the house plus the tall windows are lovely- and the fact that the owner has kept the integrity of school house by leaving the chalk boards and water fountains is so charming! It’s a great year-round place! Snow season is beautiful and so is the warmer season. The neighborhood is tucked away but not isolated completely. It’s perfect :)
