Thousand Trails Snowflower is a beautiful RV campground and resort nestled high in the Sierra Nevadas within Tahoe National Forest. It is a magnificent place of unique splendor, surrounded by mountains, valleys, big pines, cedars, and forests. The resort offers beautiful sites with hook-ups for RVs and tents, as well as cabins and yurts. The RV spots in the trees are well planned and have easy access. Everything is clean and well maintained.
The location provides a feeling of wonder and joy, with a lake great for fishing, good hiking trails, a pool, and a couple of lodges. It is a beautiful place for the whole family to enjoy. The staff is extremely friendly, accommodating, helpful, and nice, going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The campground has a welcome center and a very small general store. It is recommended as an awesome place for a quick weekend getaway with easy access from Sacramento and Reno.

Great mountain camping place. Kind needs some TLC. Great staff, always clean and neat. Most hook ups are water & power only. Plenty of dump stations.

Really love visiting snowflower !!! Employees are very friendly and helpful !! Nice lake with good fishing and also close to lots of hiking trails . Also bike in Truckee and the Truckee River trail from palisades Tahoe !! You can also float down the river from Tahoe City !!
