“I just took my very old Acura MDX in because - for the second time - the dealership could not promise a proposed and expensive repair would solve the problem. Both times Chris quickly understood and explained the problems, along with offering a number of possible solutions at different prices he thought would work - and they did. Want a trustworthy, talented, and reasonably priced auto mechanic? Come here. Highly recommend!”

“The team at Midas in Encinitas has been my favorite automotive service experience ever. I was referred to them by a AAA tow driver 2 years ago. With an aging car, there are limits and challenges but Midas knows how to solve them for me. Team members such as Jeff and Travis are very professional and respectful. They know me by name, they know my car, they respect my time and budget. Loyalty pays, and I'm happy to refer them to my friends. Thank to this wonderful Midas team.”

“Took my 68 Mustang to him to because I had just installed adjustable strut rods and wanted to get the alignment right for modern tires. He was able to get the caster up to close to 2 degrees and man what a difference. Can now cruise 70 on the freeway without fearing for my life and it doesn't wander or hunt terribly like it did before. He also gave me some other tips and helped me tighten up the steering for the power steering box I recently put on. I was definitely impressed by Dan and his brother E's professionalism and knowledge. I'll definitely be back in the future for further alignment work on my old cars. Thanks guys!”

“I found out about aloha Auto from a local AutoZone. Gary, the owner of aloha Auto is a very skilled mechanic and an easy guy to talk to. My first experience was just for an alternator. Recently, I was in need of a whole new steering apparatus for my Honda Odyssey, including rack and pinion pumps hoses tie rods engine mounts etc. Gary tackled it all for me in one day. Expert work. Now when I turn my Honda Odyssey it feels like butter instead of trying to turn a boulder. Thank you Gary if there was more than five stars I'd give them to you?”

“A Great visit - my initial appointment time was right on the minute. My service representative Lucas is a perfect fit for my 1990 VW Vanagon Carat. Over the years he has worked on my van many, many times. I stopped by his bay a number of times and always impressed by his work ethics and knowledgeability literally inside & out. Matt's inspection service (with picture availability) impressed me - giving me a clear concise outline - what's OK, an area of moderate concern to Must Do Soon category. Next step scheduling my next visit with Brad's Foreign & Domestic.”

“My 12 year old Toyota Sequoia started blowing hot air. I had it tested locally in Del Mar and they said their was a leak in the front core evaporator and evidence of a possible leak in the rear one. They said they didn’t want to fix it Because it was too big of a job. I called toyota service and they wanted 3 k ish to replace it.I called a few shops and harris said they would test it first and if it was the Evap would beat the price substantially.I left my car there and they sniffed it and said there not only was no leak/ but whoever tested it bled all the coolant out. They could have easily just replaced it and no one would have known the difference. There are still honest and ethical people on this planet and now they have a life long customer. Won’t be asking about the price in the future with them. WORTH EVERY PENNY.”
