Been here a few times. Always polite and courteous employees and fast.Incredible that the BofA off of La Costa is so terrible (see my 1 star review for them).Always happy to go here when needed they always take care of me. La Costa never again.

Incredible. I have never been to a BoA and had a good experience. The most dated, depressing buildings to boot. We know where they are not spending our money.

Lines are super long. Wait forever!

Terrible customer service and unbearable wait times. It is shocking that such a commoditized business could offer such poor client relations.

I'm not a customer but I had to go here to cash a check, the line was a mile long, the tellers are SO rude, they are incredibly slow and just kept saying if I opened an account they'd be able to help me faster. Why in the world would I want an account at a place that treats people so horribly? No thanks, I'll stick to Chase that actually has branches that are open normal hours.

Jorge Valenzuela (the market manager of this Bank of America and other nearby branches) had at least 3 different employees test positive for Covid-19 here during this pandemic and each time Jorge attempted to keep the Encinitas branch open for as long as possible without notifying customers of the infections until the bank’s safety department shut it down to reduce exposure. This is unacceptable behavior and violates every health and safety code there is. Get this guy removed from his position.

I've been a longtime Bank of America customer for over 30 years now, and my experiences at this Encinitas branch make me question why I am a loyal customer. Yesterday, rude teller Ruth was condescending and incompetent. When asked for "newer-looking bills" during my cash deposit, specifically for handing out for Chinese New Year, she purposely proceeded to give me the oldest, dirtiest $100 bills available. When I confronted her about this, she said, "we don't have new money." Tellers in the past have always taken the extra few seconds to look for newer-looking bills for me. Idiot Ruth needs a lesson in cultural competency and customer service. I refuse to visit this branch ever again, and am not sure why I even bank with BoA anymore, as their branches are always closed.

Javier Olarte was so rude. I have been a client for Bank of America for the past 5 years and I have never experienced such a rude manager. I would NEVER recommend this location. Del mar or Sorrento Valley are way better.

Typical story: 9 customers in line / 5 employees that I can see / 1 teller window open. Customer service left this organization a long time ago.

Horrible experience with Javier the bank manager. I'm a broker and needed to work with him- he is super incompetent and arrogant. Weird vibe at this B of A..

How can I trust your establishment with my money if I can't even trust that your branch is open when you say it is? Sign clearly states you are open till 4 pm and the doors are locked. Your scared, unhelpful staff doesn't even have the customer service skills or decency to talk to the customers. Apparently working from just 10 am until 4 pm was to exhausting for these fat cats. BoA is repeatedly the absolute worst banking experience I have ever had. Congrats!

Worst customer service ever. Two hours plus waiting on phone for a human as their on line system can't fix the mistake . Then rude manager at the New Encinitas Branch on Encinitas Blvd. Four days later, they still have not been able to fix the double payment they took for my credit card payment.
