I have gotten gel manicures for years at various salons, but I made the horrible decision of coming here to get my gel removed and repainted a few months ago. The technician (who was admittedly very kind) filed down the absolute living daylights out of my nails which COMPLETELY ruined them, and have weakened my nails to the point that that manicure as well as the subsequent two gel manicures I had after chipped within a day or two. Proper removal is extremely important to preserving your nails and I’m really disappointed by how badly this place ruined mine, which will take months to fix. I wouldn’t return and recommend others to go elsewhere!

This place is truly the BEST. Everyone that works here is so lovely and kind they always make me feel welcome. They’re super reasonable and the quality of work is very high. They know my nails better than I know my own! I actually always get compliments on my nails too.

Very disappointed,☹️ me and my daughter have an appointment, I called 3 days before to make sure we both got in, we look forward to it, when we got there they said they canceled us, not quite sure why they gave us no explanation, the lady said she called me, and left a message, I never heard from them.
I don’t usually give reviews but this time I had to 😞 we went somewhere else, and they were really busy and still helped us.

Come to this place from Oside because they do a quality job on your nails and they tend to last longer than other nail places.

**Best Nails - A Wonderful Experience!**
The salon is clean, well-organized, and has a relaxing atmosphere.
The technicians are skilled and attentive, paying close attention to every detail. I also appreciate the care they take with hygiene and cleanliness, which is so important. The staff is friendly and professional.
Overall, Best Nails consistently exceeds my expectations, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality nail care. I’ll definitely be returning!

I was staying in Encinitas for the weekend and needed my nails done and happened upon best nails. I got there a little after 6:00 and they were closing at 7:00 and asked if they had time to do my nails. They happily said yes.. When I showed them the nail design that I was hoping to get the male owner who was shaping my nails said that he couldn't do that but he was going to see if someone else could. He did a great job shaping my nails and then his daughter came to do the polish. Kim is her name. She took such care in doing a beautiful design. I feel really bad because I didn't get out of there until 8:00. An hour after they closed. But they were so gracious. I am most likely going to make the 30-minute trip from my house to Encinitas to get my nails done again. Thank you so much for the great service.

Walked in today for acrylics and was helped immediately. San was great! He worked quickly and kindly. To be fair I have never had my nails done professionally, but I was pleasantly suprised. I felt the pricing was fair.

This salon is truly a top notch place! Locally owned, family run. I was instantly treated and welcomed with a warm smile. Kim, you are so wonderful. Thank you for your kind hospitality, service, and great conversation. You took the time to hear my concerns and made me feel at ease. Thank you for doing an amazing job with my pedicure. My pedicure was by far the best I have had.

I just paid for one of the worst mani pedis ever. They didn't have the polish for the look I wanted. I showed them a photo of the exact nails but instead I got caked on acrylics that look terrible, and a pedicure that barely took any dry skin off. The polish is smudged on my toes and fingers. I asked one woman if she could take the gel polish off and start over. She refused and put several more coats over the mistakes. You can still see the smudges. I finally gave up but should have asked them to remove everything and just put clear polish on my natural nails. That would have looked better. Even the shape of my nails look crooked. So now I need to pay for a second manicure and pedicure somewhere else this week. I'll never go back here, even for a fix. I don't think they have the skill set to fix this. To make the experience even more uncomfortable one of the technicians admonished me for saying I did not inherit great nails. I was merely stating my opinion, and explaining what I want and need. I had to listen to her talk about her personal health issues and how I should have gratitude for not being sick like her and other people. She even compared my comment to another client who had a prosthetic limb and I don't know if she was trying to shame me for my comment about my nails, or what? It went on for about 15 minutes and yes, I am sorry she and other people have health issues but it was so unprofessional and uncomfortable. She also mentioned how she only came back to work because she needed money so maybe trying to get me to tip more?? I expect more for a $78 mani-pedi with expectation of a tip.

Spa pedicure & Gel manicure. I have been with Best Nails for over 20 years. A family run salon who cater to their client's individual needs. My 95 year old mother also enjoys the caring, relaxing, professional services provided. I trust Best Nails with my nail care.
