This review is for the Encinitas / Cardiff location off Santa Fe Drive between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday , September 24th , 2022 :I went in to get the Liquid cement screen protector and nobody else was in the shop. I asked the store associate if she could do it for me and she said she didn't know how and proceeded to ask her coworker in the back on his break who might have been the manager. He said it's super easy and that she could do it and she obliged at which point I asked if I could go run an errand and come back if I leave my phone there as collateral for her to put the liquid cement on anyway and she said sure . So I left and 25 minutes later came back and I asked did you figure it out? She said yes and guided me through the payment process on a very complicated card reader that asks several questions before processing payment . So I paid and she said, " give me about 10 minutes." I asked what do you mean? I was gone for 25 minutes and you said I could do it and when I got back I asked if you had figured it out and you said yes . She replied that she had to deal with a couple customers and I looked around and nobody else was in the shop just like the first time I came in 25 minutes prior. I almost asked for my money back and left because she was very misleading and couldn't believe she couldn't accomplish the simple task in the 25 30 minutes that I was gone. This may sound like an entitled first world problem review but my beef is the fact that she said she could do it and didn't end up doing it in the 25 to 30 minutes I was gone. It's the principal that she said she would do something but then didn't do it. And I wouldn't have left this one star review if it was that alone but then she doubled down and made it seem like she had done it , had me pay and then proceeded to start doing it after I paid first. Horrible customer service ! Why would I leave and run an errand to save time just to wait another 10 minutes when I got back?? Moral of the story, if you can't do something, then don't tell me you can. If company policy mandates I pay first then so be it but you need to tell me that as a store associate because I don't know your policies. According to her, it was not a policy and when I asked if I could leave my phone as collateral, she said yes and she said she would do it. Furthermore, what was the guy doing in the back room not helping out when she "got busy"?? Btw, your entrance Door says to pull when it's actually push and the exit door says to push when it's actually Pole . Might want to get that fixed ...

I was just trying to reinitiate service after briefly switching to another carrier. The rep told me I would have to call customer service. Then they told me I didn't need to, that they could take care of it. Then they told me I couldn't keep my current phone (the same one I used with Cricket 3 weeks ago). Then they told me I had to call customer service. After over half an hour in the store and getting nowhere, I decided to give up and get T-Mobile.
