Rude, miserable pharmacy staff. 10/10 don't recommend. Short, snappy and down right rude with zero hospitality skills.

This review is for STANLEY! (I am leaving this review under my wife's account since I want to leave it asap) What a great guy, he went above and beyond for me and helped me to accomplish something I never could have done without his expertise. Especially 1hour before closing with a huge smile on his face! STAN you know YOU ARE THE MAN!

P was extremely patient and helpful while I was confused about my cvs member Rewards. I was walked through the process of claiming additional rewards on the app and this made it easier to understand. Thank you and keep up the great service!

Best CVS of the bunch! From the Front staff to the special cosmetic consultant to the pharmacists way in back. Everyone seems totally happy to be working there, always busy but not stressed & efficient customer service is their priority. All starts with the Manager, & she is right in The middle to problem solve & keep things running smoothly. It’s been this way for awhile now. Can’t figure how why they only have such a low review score????

I made a quick stop to CVS -address 455 Encinitas BlvdEncinitas, CA 92024Nov/5/2023 around 1pm.I went with my three boys and as most of the time with kids it was hectic. I went to the self check out and the CVS associate there immediately saw us and how overwhelmed I was with my kids. He asked if they could have hard candy. I told him my two oldest can but my toddler is too young. He ran back and grabbed them peanut butter cups. He only had two SO he bought a chocolate bar for my oldest kiddo and gave the pb cups to my younger kids. I was speechless. What an outstanding kind human. My husband is active duty and gone most of the times so I do things alone. This kind gentleman made my day. I forgot to ask his name but I wanted to make sure to give a review. People like him make this planet a good place. Please let him know my 10 yr said he was so appreciative. Kind regards. Zsuzsanna

There is a reason this place has such low reviews. As an example of their incompetence, I signed up online to get the flu and Covid vaccines at the end of the week. They never notified me that they might not have any vaccines, I just heard that from other people. Had to call the day of the appointment to see if they have vaccines, only to find out they do have them but they only had me scheduled for the flu vaccines, not the Covid vaccine, and I would have to reschedule for a later date. Thankfully, since I knew what useless idiots these people are, I had made a backup appointment at a Walgreens about 10 miles away, so now I have to waste an hour of drive time to go to that. Go anywhere else but here if you want things done correctly.

Overall I'm always pretty happy with the service I get at this pharmacy. I've never had any issue transferring prescriptions here and the employees always seem to be friendly. The one issue I have had is that they do not seem to apply RX coupon codes like other CVS stores have done for me in the past.

Where did these pharmacists go to school???? I called to ask a question and the woman pharmacist kept insisting that GHB and Rophynol are the same thing. How does someone in this profession not know the difference...and insist on arguing about it when a simple google search could disprove their assertion? How do you help customers when you don't know what you're talking about??? Corporate - you need to check on who you hire better. WTAF?

If only there was something lower than one star, that’s what I would give them. They will screw up any order no matter how simple. If you try and call them, you will be on hold for an hour and then the phone will just magically disconnect. Over and over and over again. Do not do business with these people for any reason.

No Public Smoking in Encinitas starting today ? Male employee came outside to inform me as I sat on bench smoking. Is Pot is legal to smoke I asked. Apparently yes. Then employee asked if I needed any ! I stopped spending money in Del Mar years ago when this nonsense began. Buh-Bye Encinitas ?

Over decades, my experience with this CVS location pharmacy is pits. CVS HQ don't care. all poker-faced staff and no professional training at all. Terrible service. On the scale of 1 to 10(Best), a negative zero.

I was hung up on by the pharmacist. Asked my doctor to call and JEFF the pharmacist who is allegedly the manager hung up on him as well. I am sure CVS records these calls. Question is: Does management care about service like this?

The Pharmacy doesn't rate one star, for their absolutely rude and disrespectful behavior to their customers.Jeff has no business dealing with the public. The people that come to this pharmacy have all matter of needs, illnesses and are vulnerable. Many are Senior citizens. I shudder to think of anyone who is sick, having to deal with Jeff or those that work with him, as they are equally has disdainful and have not one iota of empathy.I have been a customer of this CVS for well over a decade. My Drs. office was in the midst of a redo on their systems, so I had to go pick up a paper script and drive it over. When I walked in, the young lady behind the pharmacist counter, took one look and told me she wouldn't accept a paper script. I tried to explain to her what had happened and she informed me that state regulations would not allow a level 2 narcotic to be filled from a paper script. (Come to find out later that this is incorrect information.)This was very frustrating in that she wouldn't listen, wouldn't call the Dr. to confirm and basically wouldn't give me one ounce of empathy before turning me away. Now it took additional calls to get ahold of the Dr.s office, who eventually called this CVS, spoke with Jeff to explain what was happening. When drove down a 2nd time, Jeff and his female counter part, blew me off, said they were back ordered..had no idea when they'd get a shipment and wouldn't take my script. Told me to go elsewhere. I asked if I wouldn't run into the same issue, being turned away, and he said, I should try. When I chastized him on his lack of care, he told me I could leave. When I asked a question, he made a point that he had already given me that information, not realizing that his absolute rudeness made it hard to digest what info he was sharing. My husband and I walked out, went to the Mgmt and met Brittney, who listened, asked questions and then offered to see if the prescription might be available near us. Brittney checked and then found it was available right down the street.Such a simple concept of having empathy, listening and then helping. Jeff and his team, should be retrained or removed if they cannot understand who their customers are and the fact that these people are patients who need their help, not their abhorrent treatment.BTW, Myrna at CVS on El Camino Real, was a nice and gracious as could be.
