The CVS pharmacy in the Target store in Encinitas, CA has the best prices and service that I have ever experienced.

Very poor selection of cosmetics. I went specifically to find Revlon products and there were absolutely none.

I was at the Target CVS Pharmacy in Encinitas, CA today. This was my third bad experience with this CVS in less than one week.I was called that my RX wasn't authorized, I told them to fill anyway as I have a coupon and will pay out of pocket..the clerk confirmed it would be ordered and ready the next day after their noon shipment. However, the very next day I get another call asking if I want the RX filled. I told them I had just had this same discussion the day before and told it would be ordered and in-store the next day. The clerk was rude and said, "Well, the order was not placed." She then puts me on hold for 5 mins and when she gets back on the phone with me she has nothing new to tell me, all she asks is if I want the RX filled. So, why on hold for so long? I proceeded to explained to her for the second time, that this request was made the day before and confirmed that the order would process that day. Then, I go for pick-up and when the clerk gets my RX she tells me my insurance paid for some of it...which didn't make sense as I was told it wasn't covered. I let it go and just wanted to pay using my coupon. Clerk goes to a computer and says, your RX is not eligible for the coupon because you have insurance. I then explained that the coupon states, if you have insurance but it's not covered you can pay via a cash payment. She then says, you'll need to wait for approx. an hour because this RX needs approval by the pharmacist and he just went to lunch. I proceeded to let her know I wasn't give this instruction when I was told the RX was ready for pick up, therefore, I just showed up as I do every other RX I order. She then says, I put it in the computer and it was rejected. I showed her a paper copy of the coupon where it states I do get the discount. She got flustered and that's when the pharmacist appeared. I asked if he was the pharmacist (no name tag) and he said yes abrubtly, didn't make eye contact with me or smile or say hi...just took the coupon and went to a computer (I was just told he was at lunch to come back in an hour???)The pharmacist seemed upset that he had to take over the clerks job (which I don't blame him), but he shouldn't take that out on me/a long time customer. He was at the computer and was silent for 5 mins except to talk with other customers he was interrupted by. Finally, he processed my coupon and I paid him as he cashed me out. He never asked if I had questions on the medication or even to say thank you or provide a smile. The whole experience was unpleasant. The pharmacist and staff seem overworked, no one was smiling and grumpy and I had the unfortunate luck to be a casualty of this.I'll likely pull all my RX's and going elsewhere where I'm treated nicely, appreciated and not like an enemy. Three rude conversations in a 5 day period is rough to go through. I've been going to this CVS in Target for 6+ years and usually always have a normal, pleasant, and easy experience. However, the last few months of service there have been unpleasant and the reason I'm completing this survey. It's simply not okay to treat paying customers rudely. Really disorganized as well and what I mean here is that I had repeat and ask that the order be filled for the second time via two phone calls, or be told the RX has been rejected without further research (as it was indeed accepted), or I'll have to wait for the pharmacist's approval as he just left for lunch and to come back; or be lied to about the pharmacist at lunch, yet there he is.You asked for my experience. Horrible.

I brought in my disposable camera over 3 weeks ago to get the photos developed and they said it would take less than 7 days. I called multiple times after a week and a half and finally today a worker told me that they don't even have my camera nor the photos. This camera had pictures from my family vacation on it that I will never get back. It's ridiculous that I just wanted to get my photos developed and they lost the camera.

I placed an order for a prescription to be filled 10 days ago and it still has not been filled. I was told by the pharmacy that they were out of the medication and that it would be approx. 3 days to fill. It is now 10 days and they don't know when the medication will come in. Unfortunately I can't simply go pick up my prescription request and take it somewhere else now. Why take an order when you don't have the medication and don't have a definite date when a new batch will come in. Frustrating. Find some other pharmacy.

Middle of the day on Sunday and only one person working? Waited in line for 15 minutes just to pick up.

The worst!! The worst pharmacy ever! They do not answer their phones, scrips are never filled on time, they send a text stating to call them regarding a scrip, and then don't answer the phone for 3 days! I miss the old staff- Austin and Nora were awesome- amazing customer service. This current batch is a bunch of incompetent idiots!

I tried twice to get a booster shot with CVS Pharmacy. The second time, the scheduling was actually done on my iPhone by a CVS pharmacy employee! I called a few days before the second appointment because I had not received any email or text notices: when I could finally get hold of a CVS pharmacy employee (a very convoluted process), he could not find an appointment. I give up! I will not use this pharmacy again).

I got both of my covid vaccines here and the process was super smooth once I finally was able to make an appointment online. The whole process was really organized, I barely had to wait! They had a table of friendly people outside with a clearly labeled sign for vaccinations, then they told you which aisle to go where everyone was friendly in the process (pharmacists, people taking your temp, etc.). The person who vaccinated my arm was really helpful and friendly. After the vaccination, they have a waiting area and the woman who was running the waiting area was super helpful and nice. She told us to take photos of our cards and was giving advice on what to do with the vaccination cards. Getting the covid vaccine is a super exciting experience and CVS made this even more exciting and positive with how quick, well-organized, and friendly everyone was. I have friends who got vaccines at other pharmacies and it was not as smooth.

I have to say the automated phone system is pretty good. I got a text that I had a refill ready and wanted to request a refill on a second Rx so I could pick them both up in one trip. I called and got info on the copay for the one that was ready, then requested a refill on the other one. The "phone robot" asked what date and time I would like to pick it up. I said today's date @ 1PM: 2.5 hours from the time I called. It said "ok, your prescription will be ready for pickup on thurs, may 21 at 1PM. When I've been transferred to the pharmacist for questions about substitutions, copays, etc, they pick up promptly and they have been helpful. When your insurance doesn't cover something, always ask for a discount coupon when picking up. They've gotten creative and saved us some money that way. You do have to ask though. In the past I've had several complaints and was considering switching, but lately they've stepped up their game. I will continue to use this pharmacy.

So it's May 20, 2020 and now CVS is increasing prices over 10% on their products and other the counter products and or drugs. This isn't a grocery store nor do they sell beef or pork. Their is no excuse for this!!! They have lost me as a customer for good! I hope people keep reading yelp, people it's time to pay attention to those who are doing this to us and boycott their stores!

This place is a joke. You can always count on them to be inconsistent and jerks to you when you need anything that is completely in line with the service they provide.

This place is always open, 24 hours per day. It’s always been my go-to after hours pharmacy
