Best Ford dealership by far in San Diego & best dealership I've ever dealt with. Eric Belowitz has sold me my dream truck not once but twice now. Both times was in & out of there in record time. They have the best quality inventory in San Diego by far. Highly recommend Encinitas Ford & Eric if you're looking to buy a Ford. Won't do business anywhere else.

I bought a car from Encinitas Ford. Kevin Sale was my salesperson. We handled most of it online through email and text. When I did go in to drive and finalize the deal, I was in and out within 2 hours tops. He didn't try to oversell or anything like that. He was honest and upfront. I had a great car buying experience here with Kevin leadung the way.

My wife scheduled an appointment for 9 AM today to get the oil changed on our new ford. typically at Jiffy Lube or similar this appointment would have taken less than 30 minutes... She is still there at your location waiting and the car has not been touched yet. What a joke!! it is now past 11 AM... What's the point of making an appointment or getting service done at your location if you can't accommodate the people who made appointments? Waste of time taking your vehicle here for something jiffy lube can handle MUCH more efficiently WITHOUT an appointment. Get your shit together Encinitas Ford, don't accept appointments if you can't accommodate them! Sick and tired of incompetent service locations that just want to take your money and waste your precious time. Don't plan on doing anything all day if you take your vehicle here for a "scheduled service." we just got the car home. Five hours later, there is grease all over the front bumper, passenger side fender and door. Clowns can't even clean up after themselves.

We had a very good car-buying experience. At first they wouldn't negotiate over email. But when pressed, they came through with an email offer $1725 below MSRP (sticker price), after we asked for only $1500 below MSRP! (Grody Ford in Carlsbad dug in at a way higher price. No budge below that.) Always negotiate by email (after deciding exactly what vehicle your want). Sales Rep: Kevin Sale (one of their top sales people, and he's been there for years, not weeks). A+ Integrity A+ Explaining the car's electronics, menus, settings (deep and accurate knowledge, patient, clear explanations). A+ Overall communication clarity and demeanor. The car buying experience can seem exploitative or abusive if you don't know the ropes and communicate well. Anyway, ours went very well.

Yes This is the right place to buy your car! Great People at a Great Family owned dealership. I searched for the car I wanted for 3 weeks and found it at Encinitas Ford. it was such a good deal I got an airline ticket and flew down. Allen Kessler was my personal salesperson we spoke on the phone and he answered all my questions then asked if I wanted to come in and see the car I said I live in Northern California, Allen said no problem I can pick you up. I got my ticket he picked me up we drove to the dealership and the car was everything and more. the only think that slowed me down is they had another car I might have purchased because they had such fair and good price. after I made my decision per our phone conversation I was pre approved for a low 5.5% loan and was going to put a large down payment doing the paperwork meeting with the finance guy was a fast easy breeze. please note: not once did I feel uncomfortable or pressured in any way. was simply offered options that I simply turned down by saying no thank you and they moved on. from start to finish it was about an hour this was refreshing because in the past I spent hours at other dealerships. the staff here is a class act. when I am in the market again I will check out their inventory they have many lease returns with low miles and in great shape. I got a 2020 Lincoln Nautilus Black label fully loaded with only 8K miles on it and it's in mint condition. every place else I looked wanted $45k to $49K for this car with 30K miles on the cars. Encinitas Ford was at $40,500. Still has factory warranty. I got the exterior and interior color I wanted with all options. This car will last my family for many years. Jim Mortensen Windsor Ca

buying my car from here was great. Everything since has been a nightmare. In 3 years my expeditions been to the service department 5 times. Every time I have to make sure I'm getting treated fairly and they're abiding by my warranty. I have 4 kids and they never provide me with a suitable rental car. The woman who's grandfather opened the Ford way back is the one who told me (when I bought it) how they like to treat everyone like family blah blah blah... but when it comes to actually helping a family, they don't. Their service department is always backed up, wont ever be honest about timelines, cost etc and are very rude. won't buy another car from here again. One time I dropped it off while I was pregnant with 3 kids and had two car seats and a stroller and it was raining, they suggested I walk up the hill to the enterprise to get my rental car. when I asked for my kids and I to have a ride they got mad at me and were annoyed that i had to install and uninstall my kids car seats in their car to drive me up. No one offered to help me or carry anything. absolutely despicable behavior coming from "men"

Our family had the best experience with purchasing our Lincoln Navigator Reserve at Encinitas Ford. Our sales person, Kenny E. is kind, extremely knowledgeable, hard working and provided the best customer service possible. He made sure our car buying experience was easy and positive throughout the entire process. We love our Lincoln Navigator. Thank you Kenny and the team at Encinitas Ford!

Unprofessional and Incompetent. I am embarrassed to confess that I was suckered twice by these people: purchased two cars, spending $90,000. How could I have not seen it ?! Salesman Kevin Sales is a sweet guy, but he's got kids to feed....he could do better working somewhere else. They are winsome and manipulative. They were misleading w regard to my car holding it's value "oh, gas is expensive, this hybrid will hold it's value if you'd like to re-sell it to us!" only for sales mgr Mr Cook to thwart a fair deal at the 11th hour (once you are worn down). ...no support from Kevin on this. Overall, their priority is to extract the maximum amt of money from the buyer. They have NO interest in what's best for the customer. When I went back for an issue w my car, I overheard the owner trying to sell an elderly woman one of their "valuable" maintenance packages with her NEW car purchase. I went back for my first included maintenance and asked them to address two issues but NOT rotate the tires, as had just been done elsewhere. After the work was "done", the tech apologized, "sorry we didn't have time to address your issues but we managed to rotate your tires." Really ? Behavior like theirs is why people give up on "capitalism" and vote Democrat. Unprofessional and Incompetent.

I've charged my ford here multiple times and haven't had any issues, with sales being very courteous. Today someone else came and asked me if I bought the car with them. I said no, but haven't had any issues in the past, being a ford customer. He says these chargers are only for the dealers customers. He then says I should trade in mine for a new one. Does he really think I'm going to give him my business when he JUST kicked me off the charger?

I had the best experience of all purchasing my Maverick through this dealership. Allen Kessler was outstanding. He made the buying experience exceptional. I will definitely be back for my servicing needs and any future purchases. I love my Maverick, and even though I had to wait over a year, it was well worth the wait!!! On one trip I recorded 45 mpg!!! That is unbelievable and obviously why the Mav is so incredibly popular.

Just purchased a 2020 Ford Explorer from Encinitas Ford. Eric Belowitz made our transaction enjoyable, easy and quick. He was wonderful, caring and knowledgeable. We got fair bluebook on our trade in and a great price on our new car. Daniel Kekuva in financing was extremely efficient and personable. I would highly recommend this dealership!

I just purchased a new Ford truck and needed a little tech help with it. I stopped by and one of the salesman was gracious enough to help me out. If you are in the market for a new ford don't hesitate to stop by Encinitas Ford and ask for Allen Kessler!!!! His customer service is above and beyond. Thanks for all the help Allen!!!

The worst experience I've had purchasing a car . Don't waste your time ! Management is demanding have no patience and you get rushed. Sales man tell you one thing and management says another . They are dishonest . Don't waste you time here never got contacted back for any type of answer . Says APR is going to be certain percentage and is not . They tell you one price for a down payment later another . Unprofessional , demanding , and even got yelled at by Jeff sales manager !

I scheduled my Ford Flex for pick-up and drop-off service on 7/20/2023. After running diagnostics, they supposedly identified a water pump failure and timing chain issue, although now I had doubts about that being the actual problem. I picked up my vehicle on 8/16/2023 after being charged $2800. Unfortunately, it broke down again on 8/18/2023, and I had to complain in order to have it towed since they initially wanted me to pay for it. Finally, my vehicle was ready on 8/31/2023, with the issue now being attributed to the air intake, which they decided to fix free of charge. I believe they should have offered a partial refund considering the inconvenience and the fact that I had to rent a car for a second time.To add to my frustration, when I received my vehicle, it was covered in over 100 bird droppings, as well as dirt and debris. Throughout this entire service, I was in contact with Joel Escobar, who was supposed to be my service advisor. However, he was consistently rude and disrespectful, attempting to correct me repeatedly. On the first occasion I picked up my car, there was no expression of gratitude or any acknowledgment. It was simply a payment, signing, and receiving the key. On the second occasion, Joel failed to even come out and acknowledge me or apologize for the inconvenience, despite being informed that my vehicle had been fixed.Furthermore, my attempts to reach out to the service manager, Ken Pulsifer, have been unsuccessful, as he appears to be too busy to return my call or email. I chose Encinitas Ford for servicing because it is where I purchased my vehicle, and I was under the impression that I would be treated not only as a customer but as part of the Ford family. If this is the level of treatment that family/customers receive, then I believe it is necessary to reconsider your slogan/motto. Mark Wheeler and Scott Cook, it seems your managers/supervisors, may require additional training.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Encinitas Ford. I wanted to praise Rhonda Haman who was our saleswoman. She was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I usually walk away from a car buying experience saying I'm happy I don't have to do that again for a while. I had the opposite experience with Rhonda and Encinitas Ford. In fact this was probably the best experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. After working with her I will one hundred percent happily return as a repeat customer as long as Rhonda is there. Thank you Encinitas Ford for your excellence.
