Terrible customer service! I went to pick up the reservation today , , she says to me, I’m sorry, man I don’t have any car available .. I mention why she didn’t call me and let me know before I get there I mentioned that was the second time she did that the manager, refused to rent me Seriously? Poor communication and poor customer service! When I call and make the reservation, they say they have three trucks available this is my second time she did this to me terrible

Don’t go here. They’re jerks. I tried to rent with my debit card and told the clerk the address and he kept trying to tell me it wasn’t working, so I couldn’t rent. Turns out he just spelled my address wrong and didn’t catch it. I had just moved and did a change of address with my bank account, so it was up to date, and was trying to tell him that and he didn’t want to hear it. In the end, he didn’t rent to me because he couldnt spell a word I spelled out loud to him, and refused to help. They just lost a gold member client because some 20 year old agent didn’t have any empathy to help figure out the issue, and it was on him

Not sure what these other people leaving on star reviews are talking about Jesse the manager and his assistant manager both go above and beyond every single time I rent with them. I am a frequent renter, so I see them regularly, and they always go out of their way to do whatever they can to make my visits easy and then give me whatever benefits they are able to.. they are extremely accommodating with my situation ..it’s always a pleasure to deal with them. If there’s ever an issue, they take care of it and then some. This is the type of customer service that more businesses should aspire to. These are the type of employees as a business owner myself come around once in a while, and you do your best to hold onto them, and keep them happy because they ultimately keep the customers happy… I don’t work for some third-party company that gets paid to leave good reviews I’m just a regular customer that uses their service a lot and this is my experience.

If you can, choose another location or different company. Our experience was atrocious: on the second day of driving our upgraded insurance replacement vehicle, the vehicle broke down without warning on the side of the road 2.7 miles away from the branch. From my work I called the branch for help, told them the situation, then was put on hold for 15 minutes and then they said there was nothing they could do and we had to call roadside assistance and then once the vehicle is towed my pregnant wife and two young children could leave the side of the road and Uber to the branch to go through the process of getting a replacement vehicle. After a full hour on the phone trying to get help, I finally got a tow scheduled for the vehicle, where my wife was dressing an eight year old for a soccer game on the side of the road. Again, 60 minutes getting it scheduled, not actually out to the vehicle. Now today trying to get a replacement vehicle scheduled I’ve been on hold for 27 minutes and then got “your call cannot be transferred, goodbye.” I called back and have been on hold for another 20 minutes while writing this review and still no one. Giving up for the day. This is insane.
UPDATE:
It gets even weirder. We picked up our replacement vehicle just now and i kid you not, there was a condom (unused) tapped up in the trunk???!!! What is going on!!!???

Worked with this location, even though I have one closer in Solana Beach, a few different times now. Great service, nice staff. They always have a ton of cars to choose from. Several times they didn't have the level of car I reserved, but always found one comparable or higher level. Satisfied each time. Will continue to reserve at this location.

I rented a car at the Enterprise located in Encinitas at the beginning of March 2024. Although, there were some breakdowns, the staff took the initiative and carried through with exceptional service. Great communication skills, friendly approach!

Terrible customer service! I called to confirm my Enterprise reservation the day before, and that it would be delivered to a repair shop at 10 am. At 11 am, they said they lost (then found?) my reservation. And that I would need to go the store pick it up. And when we complained to the manager, he refused to rent to us. Seriously? Poor communication and poor customer service! We went with Hertz who really know how to treat their customers properly.

They have no clue about customer service! After confirming my reservation with them the day before for a dropoff at a repair shop, they said they lost my reservation, showed up an hour late and then said I had to go to their store to pick up my rental. When we complained about this treatment to the manager, he ignored our complaints and refused to rent to us. Seriously? Talk about poor customer service! We went with Hertz who know how treat their customers well. Don't rent from Enterprise.
