Clothes are cute but leaving the review just because the staff were extremely rude and condescending. If you can't be nice don't work in customer service? I almost left the stuff I bought and walked out.

this is for the carlsbad flashbacks location- i've sold there a few times and every time im in there, the same lady with black hair, bangs, and glasses is there with a super condescending attitude. i dont know what the problem is, but at some point you need to have customer service. i know it's not just me because ive overheard her numerous other times being rude to other women trying to sell. she has very loud tone so it carries throughout the store making everyone who's shopping extremely uncomfortable. i no longer feel comfortable shopping or selling unfortunately. the encinitas location is awesome and always has the best vintage and welcoming attitude.

Went to the Carlsbad location. It was filled with junk and dirty clothes. The girls working there snotty and rude. Won't be back. Sold my items at Buffalo Exchange and had a great experience there.

I've frequented the Carlsbad location after work and have found many funky, cool finds. There are lots of great vintage pieces. The staff is ~mostly~ kind and approachable. However, when I brought clothes in to sell one time I got lowballed (which is the nature of the resale business). They repacked my bag of clothing and I took it home thinking everything was in there. Next time I visited I saw a pair of shoes (W size 10 Mary Janes from Soda) I had brought in on their racks. I knew they were mine because they still had the same price tag from the Ross I bought them from. I went home to confirm and looked in my bag and they weren't there. Should I have double checked they gave me all of my items back? Yes. What bothers me a lot is I gave them my contact info and they didn't bother to call or text to let me know something was left behind. They didn't hold them to see if someone would come back for them. I didn't say anything because they didn't fit and i would've gotten maybe a nickel for them, just rubbed me the wrong way.

This is a funky resale shop offering men's & women's fashions, shoes & accessories, plus a wig selection. My husband wanted to go to check out any cool dress shirts, but did not find many that he liked. The store is small, not too big but if you look closely you will find some good bargains. Lots of women's recycled clothing !

(This review is for the Carlsbad location, which isn't on Yelp) Alexis and Madison are always a pleasure to work with. I've sold 100's of pieces of vintage and modern clothing to this location. Encinitas is great but the staff at Carlsbad has always been incredibly welcoming. The inventory here is always worth checking out. Thanks for all you do for us in the vintage community.

Some girl inside just tried to tell me the size small suicidal tendencies 3/4 sleeve they have hanging on their wall was given to the guy who brought it in by Mike Muir (lead singer) off his back… at least Google what the guy looks like so you don’t look d*** when you lie to customers. And this isn’t the first time I’ve found dubious band merch in that store. I can’t remember what band it was, I think Metallica, they were trying to say it was from 1980 something but you could easily tell it was recently printed and just an old tag sewed on.

As long as you're not buying what's extremely trendy, prices are super reasonable. Everyone who runs shop is so kind and helpful. They're always quick when it comes to trade ins. If I'm going shopping, I'm going to flashbacks. Period!

I actually really enjoy the layout of the place and the selection of clothes they have here, but the place is wildly overpriced even compared to some other Flashback locations I've been to.Some things I enjoy about this location:-They have a very curated trendy selection throughout the whole store-There are a few items that are fair prices for a vintage storeSome of the problems I've faced at this location:-Most of the items are overpriced, and sometimes the quality of the items they sell is very poor, especially for the shoes-Some of the items and probably most of the graphic t-shirts are whole saleIf you are into Vintage stores and like checking out trendy clothes, this place is pretty cool. If you are more into thrifting just go check out thrifty threads across the street

Great place to sell clothes! Fantastic service! Wow! The clothes they opted for were wonderful. I received a check on the spot. The clothes they rejected they rejected nicely! I wish I had time to shop there. Terrific selection!

i! love! this! place! i come visit encinitas a few times a year to see family and i always carve out time to go here. i always buy at least 4 things- i’m an avid vintage collector and the prices are more than fair sometimes a steal.i appreciate the SORTED vintage so much- sometimes i only want things from a certain era and this makes it crazy easy.the customer service is so good and everyone’s so kind. i’ve never sold here but i will always buy here

My daughter and her friends love this store and all of the affordable retro styles they have available! She always comes home with great, unique clothes! We love the idea of repurposing someone else's discarded clothes and/or simply bringing them back into the mix. She/they often walk/ride bike(s) down to shop on her/their own and the staff is super helpful and kind to her/them, for which I'm very grateful. So, thank you!!

Sad to leave this review because I enjoyed shopping here and thought customer service was great. Unfortunately that was only until I got home. I discovered two of my pieces still had security tags. I live forty minutes away, and it would be such a hassle to come back. I called in the person who picked up was very dismissive of my concerns. She told me to simply go to a local Ross or other store and ask them to remove it. To me, that feels like a very uncomfortable situation-trying to convince a random person at a random store that I in fact did not steal these items, and just needed the security tags removed. For all this hassle I would expect some sort of discount or credit for their mistake, which is going to cost me a lot of time. At the end of the day I was able to remove them myself, after a lot of effort and help from other people. The customer service I received on the phone was miles away from the customer service I received in person at the store. It's really too bad.
